Harry and Markle will marry in St. George's Chapel, Windsor Castle, the same location where Camilla wed Prince Charles.

Prince Harry's stepmother says she and Prince Charles couldn't be more "delighted" by his engagement to Meghan Markle.

During a visit to Stoke-on-trent on Tuesday, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, told reporters that she was "absolutely thrilled" by the happy news.

"It's brilliant, and as I said, America's loss is our gain, and we are all absolutely delighted," Camilla insisted.

"As you can see, they are so happy," she continued. "Sometimes, you know, in a climate where we are surrounded by a lot of bad news, it's a real joy to have a bit of good news for once and as I said before, we are delighted."

Harry announced his engagement to Markle on Monday, and on Tuesday, Kensington Palace revealed that the couple will tie the knot at St. George's Chapel, Windsor Castle in May 2018. The location is the same place Camilla wed Charles in 2005.

A long list of royals have also exchanged their vows in the chapel, including Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex -- the youngest child of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip -- and Sophie Rhys-Jones in 1999 and Peter Phillips -- son of Princess Anne and Captain Mark Phillips -- and Autumn Kelly in 2008.

According to Harry's communications secretary, Jason Knauf, Windsor Castle is a "very special place" for Harry and Markle, as they've spent time there together since first meeting last July.

"The couple of course want the day to be a special, celebratory moment for their friends and family," a press release from Knauf stated on Tuesday. "They also want the day to be shaped so as to allow members of the public to feel part of the celebrations too and are currently working through ideas for how this might be achieved. This wedding, like all weddings, will be a moment of fun and joy that will reflect the characters of the bride and groom."
