Prince Akeem and Semmi are together again!

Nearly 31 years after the release of Coming to America, Eddie Murphy and Arsenio Hall reunited for a costume fitting that further confirmed that a sequel to the beloved movie is in the works. Ruth E. Carter, who won an Oscar earlier this year for her work on Black Panther, posed with the comedians and her Academy Award.

"GOOD MORNING MY NEIGHBORS! It’s official! Preliminary fitting for Coming to America 2 with Prince Akeem, Semmi and Oscar," Carter announced.

Hall himself responded to the post, writing: "Luv you Ru’ #woofwoofwoof."

Actor-musician Tyrese also excitedly reacted to the news, commenting: "Wooooooow this is going to be a mind blowing movie!!!!!!!!! Excited and charged up in a real way....... Love you guys EM! Legend!!! AH!!! legend... RC Legend!!! Get it done guys!!!!!!"

Coming to America was released on June 26, 1988, and follows an extremely pampered African prince (Murphy) who travels to Queens, New York, and goes undercover to find a wife that he can respect for her intelligence and will.

Tyrese isn't the only fan of the film. In 2015, JAY-Z and Beyonce dressed up as Prince Akeem and Queen Aoleon for Halloween.

Coming to America 2 is set to hit theaters some time in 2020.

In the meantime, check out ET's reunion with another '80s movie cast, Troop Beverly Hills.
