Spoiler alert! Do not proceed if you have not watched the sixth and final season of Netflix's Lucifer.

All bad things must come to an end.&nbsp;Sadly, in this case, that means Netflix’s hit series, Lucifer.&nbsp;The sixth and final season is now streaming and we’re already missing our favorite devil and all his friends. That being said, we will take solace in the fact that the beloved characters all got the endings they deserved. Chloe [Lauren German] and Lucifer [Tom Ellis] end up together for all of eternity. Amenadiel [D.B. Woodside] became GOD -- and his son with Linda [Rachael Harris], Charlie, got his angel wings! Maze [Lesley-Ann Brandt] and Eve [Inbar Lavi] walked down the aisle, Ella [Aimee Garcia] and her “stem initiative” found love with Carol Corbett [Scott Porter].&nbsp;Heck, even Dan [Kevin Alejandro] got his happy ending with Charlotte Richards [Tricia Helfer] in Heaven!

As we bid adieu to our beloved celestial and earthly characters, ET Zoomed with bosses Joe Henderson and Ildy Modrovich to break down the final moments of the series.

ET: When did you guys decide that you were going to bring Rory into the mix? When did you decide Lucifer and Chloe were going to have this daughter?

J.H. Well, when we found out that we might have a season 6, our first answer, they said, "Do you want to do a season 6?"&nbsp;And our answer was, "No, we don't. We're super happy with how we're sticking this landing. We love this and we don't want to do it." And they were like, "Well, listen, if you don't have a story for it, we don't want to do it either. But if you have a story worthy of it, we want to do it." So it was a mixture of incredible responsibility and also incredible excitement because we were like, "OK, let's give it a swing. Let's look at it." And one of the things I love about TV is how much you don't know the new stories to tell until you get to an ending.&nbsp;You don't know what beginnings could exist until your characters have gotten to a point where they can start telling you. And so we got to the end of season 5&nbsp;and we felt like we'd finished everything. And then we talked about the themes we hadn't explored yet. We talked about where the characters had gotten themselves now. And we realized what we'd explored so much of Lucifer coming to terms with his father and that sense of abandonment. And now that he had dealt with that, what if we turned those tables on Lucifer himself and made him the person abandoning someone? And all of a sudden, we just like, "Whoa!"&nbsp;We got so excited. We started riffing. And then it was like, boom, here's a story that not only we want to tell, we would have been heartbroken not to tell.

I.M. Yeah. The final chapter in his growth was you might learn something, but then to teach it, you know what I mean? It's sort of like learning a language. You're like, OK. I think.&nbsp;But then to actually speak it is a whole other thing. And so I think that was what we realized we hadn't done with Lucifer. That Lucifer hadn't been with the roles reversed, been the one who has abandoned, not the one who has been abandoned. And of course we had to figure out, how do&nbsp;we do that? Because he would never do that intentionally, but still get that feeling of, wow, I hurt somebody, so that's how the season came to be. And we were so excited. We were like, we rule, we were so happy.

ET: Something else that really made sense to me this season was Amenadiel actually taking on the role of God. Kind of walk me through that decision. Was that always the plan?

I.M. You know, it kind of was… We did come to that at the end of season 5, for sure, so I can't say we started there, but it was the perfect end for his journey to this angel full of hubris and then to see him fall at one point and lose his might and then to regain it, but with humility and with humbleness and with an inclusivity of saying, let's all do this together and I'm not going to be above you looking down like a pious angel, but to say we're all in this fight together. And that's what he learned throughout the season. And it was such a great ending for his character. I feel it was really satisfying.

J.H. Just to me, the person who should be God as the person who doesn't want it, but the world needs it, and that felt right. And it felt beautiful because here is this life that he wanted to live. He's got a son, he's got all of these reasons not to take the job, but we need him and finding a way for him to go, "Hey, I'll do it, but I'm also going to do it on my terms.&nbsp;I'm going to learn from my father. I'm going to grow. I've gone on this incredible journey. I've seen how my dad did it," giving him that arc of learning his own power and learning so much power comes from sharing power was really important to us.

ET: We did not get a Chloe and Lucifer wedding, but we did get an Eve and Maze wedding! Was that always the plan for them? I thought they were the perfect pairing. Is that kind of why you wanted them to be the ones to tie the knot?

J.H. Yeah, I mean, part of it was, we knew where we wanted to end with Lucifer and Chloe sort of together for eternity. And so wedding, no wedding, like to me, they are soulmates. The fun of it was we had discovered this amazing chemistry between Maze and Eve, and we wanted to celebrate that. We wanted to have an opportunity to celebrate their love, to celebrate a demon finding a soul. A woman finding herself. And also like an opportunity for the whole ensemble to cheer on someone that's so much to them. So the wedding was just a celebration of the show and of those characters.

I.M. What we also realized is that Maze in our final season was the one who was kind of happy. Like ironically, our angry demon was kind of like, "Wait, I think I'm fully realized." I mean it, which was such a fun thing to play with like in episode eight, the one that D.B. directed so beautifully. She's like, "I don't know what's wrong with you guys." She's figured it all out. And it was a really fun new toy to play with for her.

ET: Joe, you did mention, obviously, Chloe and Lucifer do end up together for eternity. Her final time on Earth is, like Rory says, just a blip in time. I did find it funny that her final words to Lucifer were, “I thought you could use a partner.” Why did you ultimately decide to end the series that way -- with that scene and with those words? 

J.H. I don't even remember who pitched, 'cause we've had that line for a long time. And I don't know, was that you, Ildy? *Ildy nods.* That makes sense. That feels right.

ET: I thought the ending was perfect. It’s funny because we did talk about a time jump the last time that I spoke to you guys and you guys were kind of cagey about it and it turns out there is a time jump and we do see Chloe on her deathbed. And then as she crosses over, Amenadiel actually says to her, “Are you ready to go home now?” I assume she's in Heaven because she's with Amenadiel but then she goes to Hell. So is her version of Heaven, Hell? Did I understand that correctly or is that just my own interpretation?

J.H. I would argue Lucifer is home for her and vice versa.

I.M. Lucifer's home.

I.M. I love what you said though about Hell is Heaven for her because it is 'cause that's where Lucifer is. I just think it's a great way to put it.

J.H. I'll walk through the thinking. One of the things was we know Chloe has gone to Heaven. We know that she is this wonderful soul and this great person. And so, I mean, one, we wanted people to wonder, oh my gosh, her Chloe lives for every meal together. And two, we wanted them to feel, oh, her home is with him and he's been waiting for her, so that Hell becomes a home for him as well.

ET: Lucifer as a therapist in Hell was also brilliant on so many levels because that's where all of his growth was -- with Dr. Linda in therapy. Talk about just the significance of that and was that kind of an "LOL" moment for you guys to be able to do that?

I.M. Yeah, I mean, it seemed fitting also because the end is kind of a bookend to the pilot in a way, he ends the pilot with going to Dr. Linda and starting on the journey of this fallen angel, this broken soul, finding some kind of forgiveness and redemption and that's where he is. So begins all these other, damned souls' journeys, on that couch but now Lucifer is on the other side sitting in the hot seat. It just felt poetic in a way, you know?

ET: I do feel like everyone did get a happy ending… Ella and Dan as well. Whose ending was the most challenging for you guys to figure out and why?

J.H. Honestly, I would say Lucifer and Chloe because it kept changing. We knew where we wanted to end, but we also kept revisiting it. We kept tapping it. We kept going, “Does this work? Does this work?” Tom had a lot of thoughts and we really brought him into the conversation and it kept shifting and changing and always within the same sort of world, but it's the most important relationship of the show and we wouldn't let it not be exactly what it needed to be. And I personally am just thrilled because I think we ended on the exact right version. But the beauty of it was being open to, can we go this way? Can we go this way? Maybe we tweak this a little bit and make sure we honor the characters.

I.M. It was kind of a microcosm of the way we sort of worked the whole series together because we really did kick the tires hard on it. We, with Tom, we had probably four or five hour-long talks with Tom about it on FaceTime, just really talking it through and then sending each other things. We brought it obviously to the room and we differed in opinion. I mean, we clashed on it. Some wanted almost more of a straight ahead happy ending but we all did want it to not be sappy because that wasn't our show. Our show was this balance hopefully of dark and light and not having everything be perfect, but finding the beauty and the love in it. So I think we found it.

ET: Are we going to get a spinoff now that everything is out there? 

J.H. Your lips to Warner Brothers’ and Netflix's ears! Spread that word.

I.M. That would be a lovely idea.

'Lucifer' Bosses Break Down That Emotional Series Finale

Warning:&nbsp;Do not proceed if you have not watched the sixth and final season of Netflix's Lucifer.

Deckerstar fans, rejoice! Though <a href="https://www.etonline.com/lucifer-bosses-break-down-that-emotional-series-finale-171668" target="_blank">we're sad we have to say goodbye to&nbsp;Lucifer</a>, we're over the moon knowing our&nbsp;beloved Lucifer Morningstar&nbsp;and Chloe Decker&nbsp;will spend all of eternity together. Plus, they have a *gasp* daughter!&nbsp;

ET zoomed with Tom Ellis and Lauren German to break down Chloe and Lucifer's fitting ending, which by the way, they wanted to make sure was just right for their fans. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

ET: What were your thoughts when you heard that Chloe and Lucifer had a daughter? That we were going to bring Rory into the mix? 

TE: As someone who has got three daughters already, I couldn't believe he's having another one *laughs.*&nbsp;To be honest, it was a bit of a curve ball&nbsp;but at the same time, I was quite excited by that prospect, knowing what it meant for us as well as Chloe and Lucifer. We're so used to teaming up together for lots of things, but not as parents. It was a welcome new dynamic,&nbsp;put it that way.

LG: Well, you know at first I hear a daughter is coming, a daughter from the future, and I'm like, yeah, that sounds pretty interesting. But once I got talking to Tom and Joe [Henderson]&nbsp;and Ildy [Modrovich], I mean, the real storyline of Rory, which is played so beautifully by Brianna Hildebrand, shout-out to Brianna, we love you. But her abandonment issues with her father, with Lucifer, are so deep and so touching and I think so many people can relate to that. So when I heard through the writers and Tom that that's what Rory's purpose was really, to come in and almost hold up the mirror to Lucifer to sort of show what... He's always felt abandoned by his father, right? And now she's feeling that from him. So sort of flipping the coin and watching that storyline play out between the two of them, I was so excited for it. And then once we got on set and I watched the two of them in scenes together, it kind of jumped off the page and really grounded it. I think that's the main grounding of season 6, is watching this. I mean, she comes in so angry and so hurt..&nbsp;I just think it's so relatable. I feel like people can just really tap into that and see where that journey goes. And it's beautiful how it ends, with the two of them.

ET: The final words of the series are, "I thought you could use a partner," and Lauren, Chloe, says that to Lucifer. Kind of talk about the significance of their ending. It wasn't necessarily the ending we thought we were going to get, but it's almost the ending that I thought made more sense in a lot of ways. 

LG: I did too. Yeah. Well, I love that you get to see Chloe has lived a life, right? And her and Lucifer have sacrificed a lot for each other. So it's like, you go, Chloe, like Tom was saying, "OK, so we're together, we're in love. Finally this is happening." But the run&nbsp;lies within the fact that I'm human, he's not. No matter what I'm going to pass, right? And he's immortal. And so we kind of address that head on and I love that you get to see Chloe be a mom, so to speak, and live her life with Rory. But then when she passes,&nbsp;you think she's gone to Heaven with Amenadiel and then you see her going back down [to Hell] to be with Lucifer for really the greatest reasons, right? If you could even say to help people. He's helping people rectify their Hell loops and their shame and their guilt. And so she shows up to help him and I just thought it was a great way to end the show.

ET: Tom, for you having Lucifer become this therapist in Hell did feel very full circle when you think about the pilot and when you think about his journey and how much Dr. Linda has really helped him. What did you think of Lucifer's ending? 

TE: I loved it, I did. I mean, I thought that it's interesting...&nbsp;It's bittersweet, I love using that word bittersweet.&nbsp;I loved it because what I was desperate to happen was one, we address the fact that Lucifer and Chloe are not cut from the same cloth in that he's immortal and she's mortal. So if you have this love story now on Earth, how is that going to manifest itself? It just ends at a certain point.&nbsp;So I was like, "What do our characters know for sure and what does Chloe have the luxury of knowing for sure?" That there is an afterlife, that there is hope there, that there is all these things and we're in control of that. But she needs to live her life out on Earth. I've realized what my calling is and we have a trust in each other that we are going to spend the rest of our lives together at the right time. And I thought that it was a much more bittersweet, I'm going to say it again, but it was a much more satisfying ending for me than they just end up together... Them addressing what they need to address and having learned a few things along the way and then our very last thing is them together and we leave them together in eternity. That's exactly what everyone wants. And I think we hopefully achieved that.

ET: Yeah, and still partners in every facet.&nbsp;I also thought, and maybe I interpreted this wrong, but that her version of Heaven was in Hell with Lucifer?&nbsp;&nbsp;

TE: I don't think there's a right and a wrong, I think it's up to interpretation. I think that's the thing. I mean, I think hopefully what we tried to do was give the notion, because we know that Chloe went to Heaven in season 5. You assume that when Chloe dies she's going to go to Heaven and we know that Lucifer can't be in Heaven. So there's all these things at play to guide you away from the fact that when he leaves and goes to Hell, they may be saying goodbye for the final time.

ET: Do you have a favorite moment of the whole entire series when you reflect on what you guys have accomplished? 

TE:&nbsp;So many. So many moments onscreen and offscreen. I'll give you one onscreen. Season 1&nbsp;episode, "A Priest&nbsp;Walks Into a Bar." Working with Colman Domingo and doing that piano duel with him, duet thing with him, was a real favorite moment for me because it really then suggested to me that this show wasn't everything we expected it to be, it could be more. And then offscreen, being canceled and being picked up again and the fans making that happen. We'll never forget that.

LG: I know there are&nbsp;so many moments, but the last day of shooting really felt so yummy and beautiful and watching our whole crew help us get the shot. I mean, really we had all these crew members holding these little props and everybody runs in. When Lucifer and Chloe are sitting on the throne in Hell, the whole crew helped with that shot... It really was like the high school theater or college theater, you know? We didn't do the CG with that. We had the whole crew working. It was also the last day so people are giving hugs and cheering and saying their favorite moments from the past six seasons. And then ending that day really with the last scene. So when I knock on the door and say, "I thought you could use a partner,"&nbsp;that day for me just was so, so good. Yeah.

ET: I know you guys are such good friends in real life. So who was more emotional filming the final Chloe and&nbsp;Lucifer scene? 

LG: I think we both sort of lost it when they yelled "cut"&nbsp;and it was the last cut of the show. I think Tom and I just went into this hug and mutually started cry hugging. I think we cry hugged for about five minutes or something.

TE: Yeah...&nbsp;I felt the same. So it's one of those things, it's a distant thought. What's the end going to be? What's the end going to be like? We finally got there and you're obviously just going through the process of doing your job and then when they call "cut"&nbsp;it was just this, I don't know, it was just like a well of emotion just poured out.

ET: I know Tom, I asked you this before, but now that we've seen how the show ends, would either of you guys be open to revisiting the roles of Chloe and Lucifer, doing a Netflix movie of some sort?

LG: The only spinoff that would not work from the show would be Deckerstar. I could see other characters having a super successful epic spinoff, but I don't know. Muff, what do you think if we did a little...?

TE: I think for now this is the end of the show as we know it. I think that never say never is always something I say.

LG: Yeah.

TE: And the notion of maybe doing a little Lucifer movie one day, I'm not against that idea, but I think the show as we know it and the show that we fell in love with, that has run its course for sure.

'Lucifer': Tom Ellis and Lauren German Break Down Chloe and Lucifer's Ending

Spoiler alert! Do not proceed if you have not watched Lucifer 5B on Netflix!&nbsp;&nbsp; 

The second half of Lucifer season 5 premiered on Netflix on Friday&nbsp;and, boy,&nbsp;did the show leave us with several cliffhangers (would we expect anything less from this delightfully devilish series?) and one major tragedy. RIP Dan Espinoza (Kevin Alejandro).&nbsp;

In the final moments of the season, we also watched Lucifer (Tom Ellis)&nbsp;seemingly become God but not until after our favorite devil finally muttered those three special words to Chloe (Lauren German).&nbsp; And don’t think we didn’t notice which finger of hers he slipped that ring on… because we did.&nbsp;&nbsp;

ET Zoomed with showrunners Ildy Modrovich and Joe Henderson to break down all the jaw-dropping moments from 5B and get some insight on what the sixth and final season of Lucifer looks like.&nbsp;&nbsp;

ET: We have to break down that finale. Lucifer seemingly becomes God as everyone in that massive fight takes the knee. Is he God? What are we meant to believe?&nbsp;

I.M: I mean, that's what it looks like!&nbsp;

J.H: That sounds like a great reason to tune in for season 6!&nbsp;

ET: What does that mean for season 6? Lucifer as God?&nbsp; 

J.H: I think the challenge of our show is Lucifer is always trying to deal with his own insecurities and live up to his own expectations and the expectations of people around him. And I think something like that, something like facing the idea of becoming God, is definitely something that he wouldn't admit would freak him out but would probably freak him out like crazy. So that sounds like something we would definitely be playing with at the top of the season.&nbsp;

ET: He's not sure how he was able to come back from heaven after he gave Chloe the ring. How did he come back? What types of forces are at play here?&nbsp;

I.M: Well, our whole show really is about exploring self-worth and the way we feel about ourselves and taking responsibility for our actions. And in that moment -- even though we know we've always known Lucifer loves Chloe -- he not only said it, but he showed it in the most selfless way he possibly could. He was willing to sacrifice himself for somebody else. He's never done that on that level before. And so, in that moment, he felt completely worthy. And that was the first time he felt completely worthy. And so he was worthy of being in heaven.&nbsp;

ET: Let's talk about that big "I love you."&nbsp;We've been waiting for it for five seasons now. Why was that the perfect time for him to say it?&nbsp;

J.H: think exactly what Ildy was saying. We wanted the "I love you"&nbsp;to be more than just about the two of them. But to be about Lucifer discovering that he was worthy of love and loving. So much of the season 5&nbsp;arc is him exploring what it means to love, what it means to put down his barriers. The two steps forward, one step back of vulnerability. And we wanted him to not only realize that he loved Chloe, which deep down he knew, but he couldn't deal with. But also realize his own self-love at the same time. It's the chicken and the egg. How does he get out of his own way to admit his love while also admitting that he's worthy of love? And sometimes it's action, as opposed to introspection. Sometimes you just have to do something heroic and impossible to realize that you were worthy of love, and of loving, all along.&nbsp;

I.M: Yeah, he wasn't thinking about it and that's why it was so pure and real and true. You know?&nbsp;

ET: I don't know if anyone else noticed this, or if this was intentional, but he does put the ring on her ring finger...&nbsp;

I.M: Interesting! Totally arbitrary. [laughter]&nbsp;

J.H: Wow. Weird! Yeah...&nbsp;

ET:&nbsp; Is it meant to be an engagement ring also?&nbsp;

I.M: I mean, it's a gesture of love.&nbsp;

J.H: Our thinking is, we just, we love the symbolism. But it's much more just about the gesture of love and the idea of saying I love you, while also having the absolute perfect metaphor within that.&nbsp;

ET: So it wasn't super intentional to put it on the ring finger?&nbsp;

I.M: I mean, it was. We were like, let's see, which one should we put it on?

J.H: It was intent. We're not saying they're engaged. We are saying that it was very intentional as a metaphor.

ET: Are we going to see them in a full blown, PDA-filled, couple in love in season 6? Or could there be an engagement?&nbsp;

I.M: I'm going to say those are two different questions.&nbsp;

J.H: Let's take the first one.&nbsp;

I.M: The first one is, yeah. I mean, we're going to see a lot more of Lucifer and Chloe together. And then as far as an engagement goes… you have to just tune in and see. I can't answer that one.

ET: Lucifer chooses not to kill Michael. He says everyone is worthy of a second chance. Instead he cuts off Michael's wings. What does Michael's journey look like in season 6?&nbsp;

I.M: Every&nbsp;season, we try to tell a story with a good beginning, middle and end, and a tease of what's to come. And a lot of season 5&nbsp;was Michael's story. So we will definitely see Michael again in season 6. But the story is not about his journey anymore. His journey is mostly complete. It's more going to be about how our other characters move on. We will definitely have a sense of where he is and where his growth is going to be going. But that moment is so much more to us about Lucifer getting that growth, realizing the idea of redemption, taking from Amenadiel in particular. I mean, Michael killed Remiel [who is] Amenadiel's closest angel sibling. And even Amenadiel was willing to say that he deserves mercy. And it was important for us to have that moment between the two brothers. But also for Lucifer, just really to grow in that moment.&nbsp;

ET: Is there another big villain that we should look out for in season 6?&nbsp;

I.M: Always. I mean, we always look for a new big bad. Although the other big bad in tandem is usually Lucifer himself because he's his biggest enemy always.

ET: Will we see more of Dennis Haysbert as God, or his version of God, I guess, in season 6? Could there be two Gods?&nbsp;

J.H: Dennis is in a completely different dimension. God is now in a completely different dimension and cut off from the world. So I'll just stop there.&nbsp;

ET: OK. That's fair. Chloe has decided to step back from her role as a detective. Will that remain throughout season 6? And how will her and Lucifer's dynamic shift if they're not currently solving cases together?&nbsp;

I.M: Well, there was a lot of discussion, I'll say this, at the beginning of the year. Because we are a cop show. We are this fun, you know, devil solving crimes. But there was, we had just formed the room after, right in the wake of George Floyd's murder. And that was on everybody's mind. And everything that was happening. So we kind of wanted to address it. And at the same time, we also wanted to just step away a little bit from the LAPD. So because Chloe had just left her job, we sort of found different cases that weren't necessarily solving crimes. They were solving different, maybe things in personal stories. And, you know, there are still some cases. But you'll see.&nbsp;

ET: Amenadiel is joining the police academy. So walk me through that decision, and how that will affect things in season 6.&nbsp;

J.H: We had talked a lot about George Floyd's murder and our role in the sort of copaganda, if you will. And so one of the things we'll do is we're using Amenadiel's story in season 6, Chloe's story, and all of the characters'&nbsp;stories to explore our role in that, the role of the LAPD, and really dig into that. We use Amenadiel as a POV character to explore that. So it's something that we hadn't planned on digging too into that level, and things happened and we realized it was a story that we had to tell, and wanted to tell. And was important to tell within our show.&nbsp;

ET: Shifting gears a little bit, Dan dies... Now that Lucifer is God, could we see Dan move from hell to heaven now that we know that is something that can be done?&nbsp;

I.M: That's an interesting, interesting, idea there.&nbsp;

J.H: Unfortunately, Dan is dead. And on our show, we can't go to heaven or hell. So, unfortunately that's the last time anyone will ever see Dan Espinoza. *Laughter*&nbsp;

I.M: Bye Dan!&nbsp;

ET:&nbsp; He told me he [Kevin Alejandro] is in season 6!&nbsp;

J.H: Dan Espinoza is our favorite character to torture every season, and the opportunity to torture him for one more season. Sure. Sounds like fun.&nbsp;

ET: Will we see him in heaven?&nbsp;

J.H: It's a good question.&nbsp;

I.M: Oh god, that is a good question. Just don't know.&nbsp;

J.H: It's a great question.&nbsp;

ET: What could heaven look like? I only ask because we saw Chloe in heaven, and it was her having a picnic with her dad. And so I'm just curious what&nbsp;he looks like in hell and what he looks like in heaven.&nbsp;

J.H: Me too!

I.M: It's many different things. I mean, we'll say this about heaven. I think clearly heaven sort of works a little bit like hell. We saw that Chloe's version of heaven was exactly what we saw, this pastoral setting, having egg sandwiches with her dad. But the difference is the doors are all open. So you can, you're not in your own private hell. You're able to visit other people. And basically there's a room, there's a room full of cotton candy. There's whatever you want.

ET: Eve and Maze seem like they're going to give their relationship a real shot at the end of 5B. What does that romance look like moving forward? I feel like people are always rooting so hardcore for Maze!&nbsp;

J.H:&nbsp; Eve will be in season 6. We love writing both characters. And we love writing the two of them together.&nbsp;

ET: Another character that I love is Ella. It's crazy to me that she still does not know that Lucifer is Lucifer. Will she find out? Will she find out he is God?&nbsp;

I.M: We can say this about Ella. She is our one character of faith. And so it's been, we've wrestled with it a lot. Does she need to know? You know, because she believes. So, does she need to see it? No. Because she believes it in her heart. So whether or not we go there in season 6&nbsp;is still to be determined.

ET: She did have a tough go in the romance department, especially at the beginning of season 5. Dan, before he sadly passed away, wanted to set her up with Carol (Scott Porter). We saw them meet at the funeral. Is there hope for Ella's love life? Will she get a happy ending?&nbsp;

J.H:&nbsp; Initially that was a role that we were, that wasn't going to be quite as big as it ended up becoming. Because we were literally, we had found out about season 6, Ildy, correct me if I'm wrong, like a week before we shot that scene. And so Scott Porter is actually a very good friend of mine. And so we were scrambling to find someone who we might want to write story for in season 6. Because it's like, oh, we're introducing this character that we don't know how much we're going to want to do with it. And Scott very wonderfully stepped up. And in one very simple scene directed by Ildy we all just fell in love with him. So he will definitely be a fun part of season 6. And it does seem like we're setting up some sort of connection between him and Ella, which would sure be fun to play with.&nbsp;

ET: Thinking about how 5B ends, what is your message to fans and what should they look forward to about season 6?&nbsp; 

I.M: When we were first graciously offered a season 6, we racked our brains and we did a lot of soul searching. Because we just didn't want to peter out, you know? We feel this responsibility. And we thought we had this epic perfect ending. And so after talking deeply about it, me and Joe, and the writers' room, we found another chapter that we realized we had to tell. It was, it became so apparent. We're like, "Duh!"&nbsp;But it just fell out of the sky. And so I think that our fans will be very glad we got season 6. Because this story needs to be told in order to complete Lucifer's entire journey.&nbsp;

J.H: I'll just say season 5&nbsp;is our big bombastic season. Season 6&nbsp;is our love letter to the show. And we stick the landing. I really do believe it.

ET: How would you describe the final season?

I.M: Emotional, beautiful.&nbsp;

J.H: Bittersweet.&nbsp;

I.M: Gets you in the heart in the best way. Like,&nbsp;I get chills just thinking about it. I feel, yeah. We're pretty pleased.&nbsp;

ET: It's going to be here before we know it -- we're going to have to say goodbye to this show. Sadly. What are the chances of a Lucifer spinoff series?&nbsp;

J.H: From your lips to Warner Brothers ears!

I.M: Yeah. If you want to call them up or...&nbsp;

K.K. Have there been discussions about which character you think would warrant a spinoff of their own?&nbsp; 

J.H: We always talk about it. We haven't actually ever been able to pitch anything. But it's always a conversation and the show does well. It would be nice to tell more stories. It's not happening yet, but we're about to go off the air. So that would be really nice.&nbsp;

I.M: You just never know.&nbsp;

ET: And then my last question. Is there a time jump after season 5B into season 6?

J.H: That's a good question. The answer is-&nbsp;

I.M: I think, can we say?&nbsp;

J.H:&nbsp; Yes.&nbsp;

I.M: Yes.&nbsp;

ET: How much of a time jump?&nbsp;

J.H. Yes.&nbsp;[Laughter]

ET: OK. Haha. That's fair. I was just curious if we're going to see these characters in older makeup? And are we going to see where their lives play out? &nbsp;

I.M: Oh, interesting!&nbsp;

J.H: We're not going to jump that far.&nbsp;

I.M: Yeah. We just start with Lucifer and Chloe in the old age home. Just doing… Water aerobics. Yeah. Why not?! [Laughter]

'Lucifer' Bosses on Season 5B Shockers, Romances and What's in Store for Deckerstar in Season 6 (Exclusive)

Spoiler alert! Do not proceed if you have not watched the first eight episodes of&nbsp;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/tv/lucifer" target="_blank">Lucifer</a>&nbsp;season 5. Read what Lesley-Ann Brandt had to say about <a href="https://www.etonline.com/lucifer-lesley-ann-brandt-on-mazes-major-turn-in-season-5-exclusive-151743" target="_blank">Maze's dramatic turn</a>.

<a href="https://www.etonline.com/tv/lucifer" target="_blank">Lucifer</a>&nbsp;has some explaining to do to God, er, Dad.

In the season 5A finale, cheekily titled "Spoiler Alert," Lucifer (<a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/tom-ellis" target="_blank">Tom Ellis</a>)&nbsp;faced off in an epic showdown against his own evil twin brother, Michael (also Tom Ellis), in a climactic fight that was ceremoniously interrupted by the long-awaited arrival of Dad&nbsp;-- the one and only enigma that is God (played by Dennis Haysbert).&nbsp;

"That's enough," says God, suddenly&nbsp;appearing&nbsp;midway through the scuffle with a knowing glint in his eye.&nbsp;"Dad...," a stunned Lucifer says, a look of astonishment and shock evident on his face.&nbsp;"Children, you&nbsp;know I hate it when you fight," God replies with a smirk, his introduction to Earth sparking&nbsp;a flurry of questions for the second half&nbsp;of season 5 to address.

It's a fight that's been brewing ever since Michael came into the picture. Jealous of Lucifer's life in Los Angeles (and more broadly, on Earth), Michael was intent on messing it all up for the Lord of Hell. From&nbsp;Maze (<a href="https://www.etonline.com/people/lesley-ann-brandt" target="_blank">Lesley-Ann Brandt</a>) seemingly teaming up with Michael after he promised her a soul to Dan&nbsp;(Kevin Alejandro) finally learning Lucifer's true identity to Lucifer&nbsp;almost&nbsp;saying "I love you" back&nbsp;to Chloe (Lauren German) before Amenadiel froze&nbsp;time and all hell broke loose, season 5B -- which picks up immediately after the midseason finale -- is bound to be devilishly delicious.

ET's Katie Krause caught up with <a href="https://www.etonline.com/lucifer-to-feature-black-lives-matter-episode-in-season-6-exclusive-151618" target="_blank">showrunners Ildy Modrovich and Joe Henderson</a> to break down the climactic&nbsp;fight between Lucifer and Michael, what God's arrival means for the estranged brothers, whether Lucifer will ever say "I love you" to Chloe and much more.&nbsp;

ET:&nbsp;Lucifer&nbsp;ended its first half of season 5 with a mega showdown between Michael and&nbsp;Lucifer.&nbsp;You have Amenadiel on Team Lucifer and you have Maze, who's&nbsp;on Team Michael right now.&nbsp;Then&nbsp;God&nbsp;show up.&nbsp;Can you walk me&nbsp;through those final moments and what you wanted the viewers to feel&nbsp;watching that? Is Maze really Team Michael? 

Ildy Modrovich: She is. We really thought a lot about this fight because how fun to have all of our celestials fight each other? We've had, I think, one fight between Amenadiel and&nbsp;Lucifer&nbsp;once, but it's kind of like a superhero battle.&nbsp;But with our stunt coordinators John Medlen and&nbsp;Vlad Rimburg, they really are the ones who take our emotional moments [and make them sing]. It's all about, OK, we definitely&nbsp;want the moment of surprise when, Oh s***, Maze is&nbsp;not on our team. She's actually on Michael's. We can walk through all those emotional beats and then they're the ones that&nbsp;choreograph these incredibly amazing moments.&nbsp;

Joe Henderson: And Kevin [Alejandro] shot the s*** out of it.&nbsp;

Modrovich: The only thing we knew from the very beginning of the season is that when God came in, we did want it to feel like there's this badass epic battle.&nbsp;Suddenly he's walking in on his kids, you know, wrestling in the living room. And he's like, "Children..."&nbsp;We wanted to diminish that moment into just brothers and sisters poking at each other.&nbsp;I think that was achieved by everyone involved.

Henderson: To&nbsp;your question about Maze.&nbsp;To me, Maze isn't Team Michael, she's Team Maze. She feels Lucifer&nbsp;betrayed her because he kept a secret from her. So it was important for us for Maze to not necessarily be disloyal because she feels like the disloyalty started with&nbsp;Lucifer.&nbsp;But instead, to feel like she needs something.&nbsp;So much of her journey is this feeling of soullessness and this feeling of never being loved. When Michael dangles an answer to the question she's been dealing with, that becomes the thing, which is, "Well, Lucifer&nbsp;lied to me.&nbsp;This guy's offering me at least a chance at something that I've always wanted.&nbsp;So, you know what, I'll take the bird in the hand."

Modrovich: Yeah, she feels alone.&nbsp;She feels abandoned before she ever does some abandoning herself.

Is the friendship salvageable between her and&nbsp;Lucifer? 

Henderson: Nope. (Laughs.)

Modrovich: They kill each other in episode 9.&nbsp;The end. I think that's the fun thing between Maze and&nbsp;Lucifer&nbsp;is that they always go back and forth.&nbsp;They are like brother and sister in that they have this rich history where they clearly love each other, but&nbsp;Lucifer&nbsp;has learned a lot in how he's treated her and taken her for granted in the past. He's made baby steps in&nbsp;giving her the respect she deserves and&nbsp;she has started asking for it more. There's always room to mend [that friendship].

Henderson: Sounds like a great 5B story.&nbsp; 
 
Let's talk about the appearance of God. How will his presence shake things up in 5B? Why was that&nbsp;fight the&nbsp;moment you wanted to bring him in?&nbsp;

Henderson: So much of our show is big, crazy ideas but&nbsp;written small. It's angels, devils and demons, but it's really brother and sister.&nbsp;Even though we had our biggest celestial superhero battle ever, we wanted to end it on kids squabbling in the living room. This is a family story.&nbsp;Dad's home and he's not happy with what his kids have been up to. That is so much of what we will explore in 5B is just that family relationship, and the emotional aspects of that.&nbsp;So much of what has come up until this moment has been everyone interpreting what their father wants.&nbsp;Everyone trying to guess at that.&nbsp;Everyone trying to live up to those expectations.&nbsp;Whether or not they're actually the expectations their father has because he works in mysterious ways.&nbsp;Now he's finally here and so much of it is going to be these children deciding which questions to ask and how he chooses to answer them.&nbsp;That will be part of the fun of it.&nbsp;

Modrovich: The trick was to still try to keep him somewhat enigmatic.&nbsp;I think we found --&nbsp;hopefully you will feel this way --&nbsp;the answer in finding what God had to contend with. We didn't just want God showing up and being like, "Let me help you." What is he going through?&nbsp;What does he have to learn or what's going to&nbsp;change in him by being on Earth?

Let's talk about Chloe and&nbsp;Lucifer&nbsp;for a minute because right before time froze, he was maybe about to say "I love you." Was he about to?&nbsp;

Henderson: He was going to&nbsp;say, "I love lamp,"&nbsp;because there was a lamp right behind Chloe and he just looked at that and he... loves Anchorman.&nbsp;

He&nbsp;wasn't actually going to say it?&nbsp;

Henderson: That is quite a good question. That will be a big part of the first episode back of season 5B is what he was going to say and what happens in between then and now while Lucifer&nbsp;is dealing with his dad returning.

Modrovich:&nbsp;Yeah and if he was gonna say it. Is he going to say it right when time resumes is the question or do&nbsp;these new state of events going to derail everything?&nbsp;

Is&nbsp;there a time jump at all or does 5B&nbsp;pick up right at that exact moment? 

Henderson: We will start back right&nbsp;after the end of 5A.&nbsp;

Modrovich: Yeah, direct pickup.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Why does Lucifer&nbsp;struggle with saying those three words so much? 

Modrovich: That's his journey. I do feel like we can't totally answer that because that is Lucifer's journey the entire season -- and really almost the entire series. He's trying. He starts off&nbsp;the selfish, rebellious child who feels like he's been wronged and is waiting for somebody to love him when really what he needs to do is figure out how to love somebody else. That's what we will explore very deeply in 5B.&nbsp;

Can you tease any major Deckerstar moments in 5B? Will we see them&nbsp;actually dating? 

Henderson: Ildy and I&nbsp;are the biggest fans of the show. We also want the Deckerstar moments. We also want the moments of them together,&nbsp;as much as we also love to tear them apart. So much of what we try to do is try to give ourselves those moments that we know the fans will love while also continuing to explore the journey of a devil who gets in his own way more often than he might like. So much of the show is we are our own worst enemy -- and that's both&nbsp;Lucifer&nbsp;and Chloe on this journey. Sometimes our insecurities, our issues, they get in our way. We want to explore that while still giving the fans the Deckerstar goodies that they love because we love them too.&nbsp;

Modrovich: The trick is always to not&nbsp;fall in&nbsp;the Moonlighting trap, right? But also to be realistic because&nbsp;nobody just suddenly lives happily ever after. There's misunderstandings. There's ups and downs. Staying&nbsp;realistic also is important.

Dan finally finds out Lucifer's the Devil and had an aggressive, violent reaction to the truth. Why was that the direction that you felt he should take with that moment?

Henderson: One of the things we always do is we list how the different characters react to&nbsp;Lucifer&nbsp;and we want to make sure that every single one feels different. With Dan, we realized Dan would&nbsp;find out via the way Michael wanted him to find out. So a lot of it is Michael's manipulations put&nbsp;into place. One of our episodes in 5B&nbsp;is an episode that really digs into Dan because&nbsp;Dan is the one character that we haven't had an episode focused on.

Modrovich: Boy,&nbsp;do we focus on him.&nbsp;

Henderson: We have an episode that is all Dan&nbsp;all the time and it is glorious. It's amazing and one of the things we love is we love torturing Dan as a character. I think that's part of it too. Kevin&nbsp;is so funny when he plays Dan tortured that we lean into that, so that was a big part of it -- just the fun of Dan suffering.&nbsp;

How would you describe season 5B?

Henderson:&nbsp;Let's just say that season 5B&nbsp;is our most emotional season&nbsp;of the series so far -- our most emotional chunk for all of the darkness in 5A. Lightness is mixed in but I feel like 5A started a little darker. 5B&nbsp;will both be both brighter and even darker still&nbsp;and it's always darkest before the dawn.

Is Michael still the big bad in 5B&nbsp;or are other villains to be expected?&nbsp; 

Modrovich: He does not go away, we'll put it that way, but there are other very bad characters.&nbsp;

Henderson: To a certain extent, the antagonist is God in as much as he is the person that&nbsp;Lucifer&nbsp;really wants to have a talk with and that becomes a big part of the conversation too because every time we bring in a new character, they're not necessarily the big bad we see them as. They're the hero of their story who is directly up against our hero and with God there's no greater person&nbsp;Lucifer&nbsp;wants&nbsp;to punch in the face and give a hug, even though so much of it was really supercharging&nbsp;Lucifer&nbsp;for that moment. And&nbsp;finally having this opportunity to speak to&nbsp;the figure that's been so mysterious and frustrating his whole life. Dennis is in the first five minutes of the season and then he's gone for the rest of the season.&nbsp;

Really?&nbsp;

Modrovich: No!

Henderson: (Laughs.) You don't cast Dennis and not have [him around].&nbsp;He's amazing. He's wonderful and&nbsp;talented.

Modrovich: He's so good.&nbsp;I wish he was God. Since the beginning, I feel it's&nbsp;true of 5B&nbsp;especially, is that the giant foil is Lucifer&nbsp;himself. He's his own worst enemy. God's presence exacerbates that and&nbsp;Michael's presence exacerbates that. How is he getting in his own way? That's a lot of the journey of 5B.

'Lucifer' Bosses on Season 5A Finale Showdown, God's Arrival and Deckerstar's Future (Exclusive)

It’s time to say goodbye to <a href="https://www.etonline.com/tv/13-reasons-why" target="_blank">13 Reasons Why</a>, with the fourth and final season premiering&nbsp;on Netflix this Friday, June 5.

The show’s star, Dylan Minnette (who put his new pink ‘do on display for us during our Zoom interview), is feeling a mixture of emotions bidding farewell to his character, Clay Jensen.&nbsp;&nbsp;

“Yeah, it's weird. I'm very excited for the season to come out.&nbsp;I'm happy ‘cause it's something that people can look forward to watching or having during this time because I think any sort of, you know, a lot of stuff is on standstill right now… but yeah, it's strange,” he tells ET.&nbsp; “It's always a staple of my year. I always know that in the last four years I've been like, ‘OK, I'm gonna go spend six or so months in the Bay Area and the show is gonna come out this year too and I'm gonna have press and all this stuff’ and this is the last time and it's really, really strange to not have that to look forward to and it definitely makes you miss it even more."&nbsp;&nbsp;

“But I'm just excited and it's the right time ending the show on the terms that we want to and I feel like we're giving a sendoff to these characters and one that is deserved," he says. "It's emotional but I'm mainly just excited.”&nbsp;

This season will take <a href="https://www.etonline.com/13-reasons-why-trailer-shows-clay-struggling-with-his-secrets-146910" target="_blank">a major glimpse at Clay’s mental health</a>, something Minnette has expressed interest in doing for years.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

“It was important… <a href="https://www.etonline.com/dylan-minnette-shares-6-13-reasons-why-season-3-hopes-for-clay-exclusive-105084" target="_blank">I've been wanting that for Clay since season 1</a>,” he shares. “There's so much going on inside of him, you know, what is it? How do you pinpoint it? How do you label it? How much does it actually affect him? How deep does it go? I had all of these questions and I feel like it's perfect that in season 4,&nbsp;Clay is seeing Dr. Altman because Dr. Altman has been name-dropped since season 2&nbsp;of the show. I feel like it's just the perfect way to help tell Clay's story in the final season and it feels very rounded… I'm glad that season 4&nbsp;is sort of what it is, a deep dive into Clay's mind.”&nbsp;&nbsp;

While we don’t know how the season ends yet, Minnette is hoping <a href="https://www.etonline.com/13-reasons-why-cast-says-no-one-is-safe-in-fourth-and-final-season-exclusive-146353" target="_blank">the finale will bring closure to fans</a> who have been with the show since the beginning.&nbsp;&nbsp;

“I like to hope that he ends up overcoming most of the struggles... I think everyone wants Clay to overcome the struggles that he's gone through since the beginning of the show and for all of these characters,” he explains. “I think when I got the scripts, there were so many moments like, ‘Oh, we're going there, we're going to that spot in Clay's mind, we're going to that kind of thought that he can have or this sort of thing that he could do that we couldn't imagine Clay doing’ and I don't know, there's a lot of those moments this season that were done really well to me.”&nbsp;

“There's some things that I wanted to see happen and they happened exactly in that way that -- I can't get into specifics about but there were a lot of conversations with Brian [Yorkey]&nbsp;before this season about things that I felt like we should see with Clay and then low and behold, there they are in the script later, so it definitely felt like a real collaboration with Brian this year on a lot of the storytelling of Clay.”&nbsp;

Clay has certainly been put through the ringer during the show’s tenure, but Minnette wouldn’t have really changed that because it brought the character to where he is now.&nbsp;&nbsp;

“For storytelling purposes, no, but for Clay, I'd change everything... but look, you can't,” he says. “I mean, the struggles that Clay goes through… I think that Clay ultimately has become a stronger, better sort of person and he's learned so much and the person that he does and doesn't want to be, and I think those were really important for Clay to grow and hopefully be any sort of step closer to be the man he truly wants to be and I wouldn't change anything.”&nbsp;

A lot of Clay’s struggles stem from Hannah Baker’s (Katherine Langford) suicide in season 1.&nbsp;&nbsp;

“All Clay wanted to be, he wanted to be a hero and that has been a downfall of his time and time again on the show. That's all he wanted for Hannah and he wanted to be a positive influence for her and to be that person so badly for so many people along the way, and I think that Clay does end up being that for certain people on this show by the end and I think it's great to explore that and to see that all sort of wrapped up in the end,” Minnette&nbsp;shares. “I think it's just some real poetic things in the writing at the end of the show that I'm very happy about.”&nbsp;

As for whether there is room for a spinoff?&nbsp;Minnette isn’t saying no.&nbsp;But we also don’t&nbsp;know how the series ends just yet.&nbsp;&nbsp;

“Oh man! I wouldn't even begin to imagine what it would be, but I have no idea,” he says&nbsp;coyly while laughing. “Would Clay Jensen be around? Who knows.&nbsp;I don't know.”&nbsp;

The 23-year-old actor just hopes fans will enjoy the sendoff the Netflix series gives to the characters.&nbsp;

“I hope that everyone feels rewarded enough in the end and feels like they got the closure they needed with these characters 'cause that's what this season is... it's just to finish a story that we started," Minnette says. "There's a real positive message in the end of this season and I hope that it resonates with people and that everyone feels fulfilled and uplifted.”&nbsp;

'13 Reasons Why' Season 4: Dylan Minnette on Emotional Ending and Possible Spinoff (Exclusive)

Warning: Spoiler alert! Do not proceed if you have not watched season 1 of Netflix's Outer Banks. If you have, it is safe to continue...

The first season of Netflix's latest YA drama,&nbsp;Outer Banks,&nbsp;is now streaming. <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r8RVpzo3tAs&amp;t=3s" target="_blank">Like we've been saying</a>, it's a little bit&nbsp;Goonies&nbsp;mixed with&nbsp;Dawson's Creek&nbsp;and a splash of&nbsp;The O.C...&nbsp;and it's set in, well, the Outer Banks of North Carolina.

If you enjoyed the super&nbsp;binge-able 10-episode series, you've come to the right place. &nbsp;Stars Chase Stokes (John B.) and Madelyn Cline (Sarah Cameron) are breaking down the&nbsp;insane finale and giving us a glimpse at what could come with a possible season two. &nbsp;

Of course, things ended with John B. and Sarah fighting for their lives in the middle of the ocean as police searched them out. While JJ's (Rudy Pankow) dad's boat didn't make it, the pair did -- only no one back home knows it... yet. &nbsp;And for now, the teenage runaways are boating off to the Bahamas (and the GOLD!)&nbsp;thanks to their rescuer, Captain Morris.

"It worked. It totally worked," Stokes told ET of the finale during a Zoom call.

"I mean, it's cool because depending on what happens, it leaves the entire world of Outer Banks to what could happen next. Which is fun, not just for us as actors who had the opportunity to kind of explore what could be... but now we know where the gold is, so I think it's an exciting time to give it to the world and say what are John B. and Sarah really going to get into now. We thought it was dark and dirty then but it's gonna get real," Stokes says.

In the final moments of the finale, the pair had the option to let their loved ones know they were OK&nbsp;but opted not to, and&nbsp;Stokes said&nbsp;there's a reason for that.&nbsp;

"Yeah, I think our first reaction is because we have no idea what's going on in the world back there. What we're potentially getting ourselves into..." Stokes starts to explain.&nbsp;&nbsp;

"And then if we expose ourselves to this captain, all of a sudden there's a bounty on my head. So, you have to remember that in any shape, way or form, anybody who wants money is gonna look at that like, 'Uh huh, these two kids are kind of sweet but a little bit of extra cash sounds a little bit better than having two kids on my boat.'"&nbsp;he adds.&nbsp;"So, I think for us&nbsp;it's more like we want to [call them]&nbsp;but the reality of the&nbsp;stakes and staying alive and staying innocent until John B. finds a way to prove himself innocent in this entire thing... he's got to remain anonymous until he gets some sort of resolution."&nbsp;

Makes sense.&nbsp;As for the state of the Cameron family, that's a whole other situation. John B. outed Ward Cameron (Charles Esten) via boat&nbsp;radio while communicating with police amid their high seas getaway, letting everyone listening know Ward killed&nbsp;his father. Obviously, this all puts Sarah in a pretty prickly position.&nbsp;

"That's one of my big questions, what's going to happen with the Camerons?" says&nbsp;Cline, who has been quarantining with Stokes and a few other castmates and friends amid the coronavirus pandemic.&nbsp;

"All of these puppet strings Ward has kind of been playing are now coming loose and he doesn't really have control over his world anymore," she says. "I feel like there definitely will be consequences for Ward or Rafe, so that will be interesting to see how that plays out."&nbsp;

As for whether there's a chance for a reconciliation between Sarah and her dad and brother, Cline isn't so sure.

"I think as far as her relationship with Ward, I don't think..." Cline says. "Personally, I would like there to be some sort of confrontation. What I love about Sarah, especially in season one, you kind of see her come into her own and kind of find her voice and come out from under the umbrella her dad has kind of created...&nbsp;so I would love to have some sort of confrontation with Ward."&nbsp;&nbsp;

"But I feel even though&nbsp;she has chosen John B., I know there's a part of Sarah that still loves [Ward] very deeply and still does want to protect him, but she's very much aware that he's not the person that he's made himself out to be," she adds.&nbsp;

As for where John B. and Sarah's romance stands, both Stokes and Cline have a lot of questions about what's next for the dynamic duo.

"Obviously, we have these two kids who have completely uprooted their life in a place they would never imagine stuff would happen, so are they gonna come back? Am I still a felon? Am I a convicted murder?" Stokes questions.&nbsp;&nbsp;

"It's beyond the murder at this point. I stole a police car, I assaulted people. I've evaded arrest... She's an accomplice. One charge is one thing but we're looking at a vast majority of different things that happened over the span of this first season...&nbsp;I mean, I can't run forever," he says.&nbsp;

Both actors are also quick to acknowledge their on-screen romance is&nbsp;very&nbsp;new.&nbsp;

"I mean, when you look at the timeline,&nbsp;they've only really been together for, like, a week," Cline says. "So,&nbsp;you have these two kids who are&nbsp;obviously&nbsp;madly in love with each other and they're headed to the Bahamas...&nbsp;It feels like there's this great opportunity to show&nbsp;the honeymoon phase of this."&nbsp;&nbsp;

"You know, this relationship where they run away from home&nbsp;and they're in this vacation destination and everything seems fine, and then all of a sudden just like, the drama hits... everything catches up to them," she adds. "I think they are definitely gonna go through some challenges."&nbsp;

'Outer Banks' Stars Chase Stokes and Madelyn Cline Break Down That Finale and Tease Season 2 (Exclusive)

Warning: Spoiler alert! Do not proceed if you have not watched all 10 episodes of season one of Netflix's&nbsp;Locke &amp; Key.

Locke &amp; Key is just as magical as we had hoped it would be.

Season one of the comic adaptation is now streaming on Netflix (trust us when we say it’s insanely binge-able) and the finale gave us a ton of cliffhangers to worry about.&nbsp;

For one, Gabe is Dodge. Or is Dodge, well, Lucas and then Gabe?&nbsp;We know, we know. It’s very complicated, but the cast has a whole lot to say about that surprising twist and what it could mean for a possible season two, which,&nbsp;yes, they are currently writing. &nbsp;

“I think it opens a couple of storylines for season two if we get one.&nbsp;I have everything crossed that we do,” says&nbsp;Emilia Jones,&nbsp;who plays Kinsey. “It's exciting, yeah, finishing on that note. I think it's exciting for Kinsey.”

Of course, Kinsey and Gabe shared a kiss in the finale, which makes things even more twisty and raises a question about how she'll feel when she finds out Gabe is Dodge.

“Kinsey will be mind-blown,” Jones says&nbsp;before predicting&nbsp;she’ll be the first Locke sibling to crack the case. “I think Kinsey will slowly figure it out because she's very quick… I hang out with [Gabe] the most!”

Connor Jessup, who plays Tyler, agreed but also joked that&nbsp;his character could feel a little happy upon finding&nbsp;out Gabe’s identity.

“I feel like Kinsey has more at stake than Tyler does," he says. "I think any older brother is always a little validated when the new boyfriend turns out to be bad.”

Regardless, the cast loved that big twist.

“What I like about it is that it really preys on the weakness of the family members,” Darby Stanchfield, who plays mama Locke, explains&nbsp;to ET. “Evil in its smartest form is disguised and hidden and so if this Dodge character turned&nbsp;into Gabe which has won Kinsey's affection… first Dodge preyed on, you know, Bode.”

Jessup agreed, noting the reveal sets things up for an even darker season two.

“In season one, the evil is very much coming from without, we're almost being, like, invaded, we're being attacked by this unknown force," Jessup says. "Going forward, it's going to be coming from within.”

Laysla De Oliveira, who plays Dodge/Echo had a few thoughts of her own. One being that Dodge has zero “redeeming qualities” -- so don't hold your breath for a 180 in any form going forward.&nbsp;

“I think the great thing about Dodge is that she is bad, unapologetically,&nbsp;and no hug is gonna make her a great person," De Oliveira says. "She's almost like a kid in a sense.&nbsp;it's like she wants what she wants and she'll manipulate...”&nbsp;Mmmhmm.&nbsp;

The next twist? Eden of all people might&nbsp;be a demon after she got hit with a glowing bullet while putting Dodge (er, who they thought was Dodge) through the Omega door in the sea caves.

“It's like the army is growing bigger, that's how it feels,” Stanchfield explains. “Really, honestly, it kind of reminds me of Stranger Things, like when that thing multiplied -- that's the first thing I thought of, you know, now there's two [demons]!”

Jessup echoed that sentiment at the&nbsp;press junket for the series, saying,&nbsp;“In this season, you know Dodge, it's the demon Dodge, but there's a whole world of demons out there and she's just one of many and what will new ones be like… do they want the same thing?”

At the Locke &amp; Key premiere, Jessup expanded on his thought.

“I mean, one big change from the comics that we set up at the end of the season is in the comics it's only ever, they suggest that there's this world of demons, but it's only ever Dodge, and at the end of our season, you know, that there's going to be more and going into season two, hopefully, we start to meet other demons and who knows what they want," he says.

De Oliveira also hinted that Eden’s foray into Demon-land means Dodge’s army gets “bigger,” teasing, “I hope [Dodge] &nbsp;gets all the power!” Ha!&nbsp;

And finally, poor Ellie!&nbsp;&nbsp;Turns out the kids tossed her, not Dodge, through that Omega door. Ah, those keys are so tricky.

“All I know is that I just keep envisioning and putting out into the world to manifest that there's a two-way lock to that door, so that she can just kind of make her way back in at some point,” says&nbsp;Sherri Saum, who plays Ellie.&nbsp;“It's nice that I didn't, you know, violently, blatantly die… no pulse in a bag, right? So there's always so much magic that could possibly happen.”

As for Ellie’s son, Rufus? Coby Bird,&nbsp;who plays him, seems to think he knows something has gone awry for his mom... so here's hoping he can help bring her back.&nbsp;

“He definitely saw something was up and from the get-go, he knew something happened to his mom," Bird says.

Stanchfield doesn’t have as much hope when it comes to Ellie’s fate though.

“That's a good question, yeah, but nothing good has come out of there," she notes. "I mean, first of all, none of these characters are gonna want to open that door for any reason.”

While we marinate on all that, the cast does have a few ideas for season two.&nbsp;

“I would like to see Bode confronting the Omega key door and just looking through that keyhole and maybe seeing something that he might have never seen," says&nbsp;Jackson Robert Scott aka&nbsp;Bode, before telling ET he also wants some more comedy out of his adorable wide-eyed character.

For Stanchfield, she's hoping she gets to experience magic again -- sans alcohol.&nbsp;As fans know, in the world of Locke &amp; Key, the magic goes away once you grow up... unless you are under the influence.&nbsp;

“Yes, if the kids are able to find a way to allow them to see the magic, can it work with the adults? And if so, can I have the key?!” she says.

And on that note, Jessup, whose character is on the verge of hitting 18, is worried his ability to see and experience magic might vanish. Ugh. Adulthood.&nbsp;

“One of the rules of this universe is that when you turn 18&nbsp;and you become an adult, you start to forget the magic and Tyler is 17 in season one, so I would hope that if we were to keep going that we would start to explore that,” Jessup says.

One more wish he has? The use of the giant key from the comics.

“I love the giant key from the comics that turns you into 40 feet&nbsp;tall,” he shares. “In the comics, it's Tyler who turns into a giant and picks his brother and sister in his hand… I just want to be in a green screen room being like, ‘Hi, Kinsey,’ with, like, a little tiny tennis ball.”

'Locke & Key' Cast Breaks Down Major Finale Twist and Teases Season 2 (Exclusive)

<a href="https://www.etonline.com/siesta-key-juliette-porter-reacts-to-alex-kompos-shocking-baby-news-where-they-stand-now-exclusive" target="_blank">Siesta Key</a>&nbsp;surprised basically everyone when Madisson Hausburg revealed she was dating Ismael "Ish" Soto, who is not only more than 20 years older than her -- but also the show's former producer.&nbsp;&nbsp;

On Tuesday night's episode, things get even more explosive as Madisson introduces Ish to her dad, who makes it clear to the pair he 100% does NOT approve of their relationship.&nbsp;

"Is he a father figure to you?" Madisson's dad asks her during the episode before really throwing stones.&nbsp; "I think [the relationship] is a mistake, he's too old. This guy is going to be an old man when you're 39 years old. My hope would be that you would keep an open mind."&nbsp;

Now,&nbsp;Madisson is getting candid with ET about Ish, even going so&nbsp;far as to say an engagement is on her mind -- with or without her father's blessing. And she says having cameras rolling as her dad met Ish was certainly not easy.&nbsp;

"That was really hard, you know, it's obviously a hard conversation to have anyways, and I have to give the show credit and production credit that it was all caught very organically on camera and I have to give Ish props for coming into this situation because he easily could have said no...&nbsp;I have agreed to do this on camera and I have agreed to be truthful about my life and he wants to be with me and so he said, 'All right,&nbsp;if, whatever you want to do, I'm all in,'"&nbsp;Madisson shared when she came to ET's offices.&nbsp;

And though that scene was filmed months ago, she admits her dad still hasn't totally come around.&nbsp;&nbsp;

"He is coming around slowly but I think I need to give him more time than I was initially&nbsp;wanting to," she says. "Obviously, I want my dad to approve and want him to welcome my relationship with open arms and I didn't get that and I am still working on it, but I am learning that I need to also give him some space and time with that and I can't just expect him to come around right away.... but hopefully, it's working in that direction where we are making progress. Maybe I am being naive and hopeful."&nbsp;

Even though the public only learned about the relationship during Siesta Key's&nbsp;premiere, the 25-year-old says her romance with the 46-year-old has been going strong for about a year now and they are absolutely thinking about the future.&nbsp;&nbsp;

"Now [our conversations are] a lot of family, like, where are we going to live, the big questions.&nbsp;It's like if we are going to talk about those things, no better time than now, and if that's not in the cards for us, then I think it needs to end sooner rather than later," she explains, also noting that they "absolutely" talk about engagement.&nbsp;

"You won't see that on the show yet.... but yeah, that has to be in the cards at some point," she adds&nbsp;before saying it could "maybe" happen in 2020. "He's&nbsp;a good guy, he makes me happy."&nbsp;

Over the course of the past two seasons of&nbsp;Siesta Key, we've seen Madisson in two other major relationships: one with co-star Brandon and one with a guy she brought onto the show because of their relationship, Ben. But her bond with Ish beats them both.&nbsp;&nbsp;

"This one feels a lot more mature and there's probably a reason -- because he is 46 years old, but it feels like solid," she explains.&nbsp;&nbsp;"Obviously, he knows what he wants and I feel very confident in what I want and I know I'm&nbsp;still young and I will grow but I want to grow with Ish and he wants that too."&nbsp;

Of course, some fans were hoping Madisson would get back together with Brandon, who famously cheated on her during the series. It's something Madisson said she really did consider before she pursued Ish.&nbsp;

"So, we did consider it legitimately," she confirms. "I don't know that I gave it the full amount of effort that he did, I think he really did want to get back together and I was like, 'Yeah,' because&nbsp;I needed closure and I don't think it was going to work out at all."&nbsp;&nbsp;

The reality star notes her friendship with Brandon is going strong these days though and he's now back together with his ex-girlfriend, Camilla.

"We're good, I will always respect Brandon and I think he would say the same about me," she says. "We actually watched this premiere together and him and Ish were side-by-side taking shots together, so, progress."

As for what's to come on&nbsp;Siesta Key, we're going to see a whole lot more of Ish, including something Madisson&nbsp;hopes doesn't create "waves" in their current relationship.&nbsp;&nbsp;

And if you're wondering why Madisson claimed she was "late" <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aol53Tq3s_0&amp;feature=emb_title" target="_blank">in the extended promo for the season</a>, well, that's going to be a big storyline too.&nbsp;&nbsp;

"There is a scare," she confirms.&nbsp;"I won't tell you what exactly happened or what the outcome was but yes, yeah, it was intense...&nbsp;&nbsp;it's going to be hard [to rewatch] for sure, it's definitely one of the more emotional things I went through on the show this season, rewatching that, in some ways, it might be therapeutic."&nbsp;

'Siesta Key': Madisson Gets Candid About Dating 46-Year-Old Boyfriend and a Possible Engagement (Exclusive)

The drama on&nbsp;Siesta Key&nbsp;escalates to a whole new level&nbsp;in season three, which premiered on Jan. 7 on MTV.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Fans are also getting a taste of what's to come this season via the cast's social media, including the news that Alex Kompo is expecting a baby with girlfriend Alyssa.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Kompo&nbsp;announced the pregnancy <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/B6HHTWPDTpy/" target="_blank">in an Instagram post on Christmas</a> and, of course, this came as a major shock since he and Juliette Porter's tumultuous&nbsp;on-again, off-again relationship has been the focal point of the Florida-based reality series for the past two seasons.

As it turns out, Juliette was just as flabbergasted by the baby bombshell as the rest of us -- and she claims Alex himself was pretty surprised, too.&nbsp;

Before we get into all of that though, Juliette, who stopped by ET with her current love interest on the show, Robby Hayes, set the record straight on their current relationship -- <a href="https://www.etonline.com/scheana-shay-gives-her-blessing-to-ex-fling-robby-hayes-romance-with-siesta-key-star-exclusive" target="_blank">revealing she broke&nbsp;up with him</a>&nbsp;after they moved too quickly during the 'honeymoon' phase. Have no fear, though, as this will all play out on the show -- and yes, Alex played a part in their split. In fact, Juliette reveals to ET that Alex 'slapped' Robby during filming.&nbsp;&nbsp;

"I had been in a relationship for two&nbsp;years and then to jump right back in another one wasn't the smartest thing to do," Porter explains. "I think everyone can agree with that... the breaking leads to opening."&nbsp;

But back to the baby news of it all.&nbsp;It hit Juliette hard.&nbsp;&nbsp;

"It was hard. It was definitely hard. I mean, everyone can think I am very petty for saying this but this is actually reality; he basically knocked up his rebound and I think it was too soon for me because he basically got another girl pregnant the same year we broke up... which is&nbsp;a fact," she says.&nbsp; "That was a lot for me, but I'm actually, like, definitely healing, so, I'm getting better. It just takes time, you know, like,&nbsp;it was a lot. And [Alyssa], I mean, you'll see on the season... We're fine in the beginning... She was very aware of the situation we were all in and then it kind of slowly, tensions started to get high as she definitely got feelings&nbsp;for him and he was just the same Alex he had always been; constantly lying, constantly cheating, like all of that, so."&nbsp;

The 21-year-old says she found out that Alex and Alyssa were expecting on the same day as his mom did, noting that the pregnancy was also a massive surprise to Alex.&nbsp;&nbsp;

"I&nbsp;know he was shocked," she says. "I found out the same day his mother found out. Like, this is how much of a shock this was to everyone. I spoke to his father about it. And in these types of situations, you simply ask, 'Are you keeping the child?' She says yes or no. She says yes, then you are going to be a father.&nbsp;That's how it works! He has no choice and I mean, and, he's not gonna say he was ready to have a child. Like that's just not true but I hope he's accepting the situation he's in and going to give it everything he has."&nbsp;

Juliette also claims that Alex cheated on Alyssa with her before Alyssa got pregnant.&nbsp;So yeah, this all a bit messy.&nbsp;

"I don't think he cheated on me with her but he definitely cheated on her with me," Juliette explains. "This is when they were&nbsp;dating for, like, two months, so."

Yet still, Juliette hopes Alex will change his ways now that he's about to become a dad.&nbsp;&nbsp;

"We'll see.&nbsp;I really do hope... I've always said Alex will be a great father," she says. "I think he will be a great father and I also think this girl is really good for him. She's a lot more into his lifestyle than I am. Like, Alex and I were always very different, that's why we clashed a lot. She's definitely calmer than I am and in ways, I think she, like, accepts more things than I do...&nbsp;I wish him the best and, you know, this is his path now and I hope that everything works out for him."

Juliette shares that she&nbsp;and Alex haven't spoken much recently.&nbsp;In fact, the last time they talked was in September.&nbsp;&nbsp;

"The last thing we said to each other was like, 'I hate you' and some curse words... It's bad," she says, adding that viewers will probably see this conversation&nbsp;air.&nbsp; "I think it was filmed. It was really, really not pretty to watch. I think that they're definitely gonna show some of that. Yeah, it gets really, really heated."&nbsp;

Despite all the anger though, we should note that prior to their current situation, Juliette thought she and Alex might reconcile.&nbsp;&nbsp;

"Yeah, there was probably a part of me that was like, 'Oh, it's never really over,' because it never really was with him," she reveals.&nbsp;

But now, there's no chance they'll get back together.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

"I'm&nbsp;22 and&nbsp;I don't have any desire to be a stepmother," she adds.&nbsp;
