Jason Momoa Says He's 'Really Excited' to Work With Charlize Theron in 'Fast & Furious 10' (Exclusive)

ET spoke to Momoa at the 'Ambulance' premiere in Los Angeles Monday night.

Jason Momoa is gearing up to get behind the wheel for the next installment of The Fast and The Furious franchise. ET's Will Marfuggi spoke to Momoa at the Ambulance premiere in Los Angeles Monday night, where he dished on his role in the franchise's tenth installment and who he's most excited to work with.

"He's amazing. He's ornery. He's misunderstood," Momoa said of the villain he's set to play in Fast & Furious 10, which kicks off production later this month.

And he's joining a star-studded cast, which includes returning stars like Charlize Theron, newcomers like Cardi B, and some of the original cast, including Vin Diesel.

"I get to shoot with some really cool people that I have never -- I get to work with Charlize [Theron] first up, which I'm really excited about," the Dune star gushed. "She's amazing."

"Then I get to go to some cool places. Obviously work with the whole cast -- most of the cast," he continued.

Momoa said he's looking forward to working with Diesel as well, telling ET that fans can expect plenty of action-packed scenes between the pair.

"I'm sure that's why they hired me," Momoa joked. "But yeah, I'm excited I'm working with Vin. I'm excited I'm working with Charlize."

As far as what he was doing at the Ambulance premiere, Momoa said he was there in support of his Aquaman co-star, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, who stars alongside Jake Gyllenhaal in the film.

"When we can," he said about the co-stars coming out to support each other. "Generally, we're not in town or something is going on, but yeah, I support my buddy."

With the sequel, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, officially wrapped, Momoa was able to confirm Abdul-Mateen's role in the film, joking in his best broadcaster voice, "Coming to you, exclusive to ET, 'Yes, Yahya's back!'"

While the film is "done" as Momoa said, it has been pushed back, so fans may have to wait a little longer to see it in theaters.

"I think it got pushed. It was in December and now it's in March. Sometime in March," Momoa shared. "So, a year from now."

He went on to sing his co-stars praises, calling Abdul-Mateen "extremely talented."

"He's extremely talented and very, very intelligent," he said. "I actually like giving him a little bit of guff, 'cause he's too good. I'm very proud of him, so it's fun."

See Abdul-Mateen when Ambulance hits theaters April 8.
