Kylie Jenner Files Trademarks for Baby and Hair Care Lines

The beauty mogul is expanding her billion-dollar empire further as she dives into two new product categories.

Kylie Jenner is expanding her ever-growing empire.

The 21-year-old social media star has filed trademarks for baby and hair care lines separately, WWD reports.

Jenner, who is a mom to 1-year-old daughter Stormi, filed for trademarks on May 9 for "Kylie Baby" and "Kylie Baby by Kylie Jenner" for baby and infant clothing, skin care and lifestyle products, according to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

The products will span from clothing and "costumes for use in children's dress up play" to bath products, diapers, strollers, baby food and more.

One day after, the beauty mogul, who officially became the youngest self-made billionaire in March thanks to her makeup line, filed trademarks for "Kylie Hair" and "Kylie Hair by Kylie Jenner" on May 10, for shampoos, conditioners, hair dye, hair tools and more.

The news comes following Jenner officially announcing the launch of her skin care brand, Kylie Skin, last week, which will drop on May 22. The line is already facing some controversy after revealing the first collection will include a walnut face scrub. Fans on social media were quick to call out walnut exfoliants would be too harsh on the skin

Despite the backlash, Jenner explains in a video posted on the brand's Instagram account that the scrub is gentle.

"It's really gentle. It's gentle enough to use every day," Jenner says in a video posted on the brand's Instagram account. "I recommend two or three times a week. That's how much I use it."

"Some walnut face scrubs are kind of harsh on the skin. This isn't too abrasive," she adds. "It really leaves my face feeling super baby soft. Makes you look glowy and takes away dead skin cells. My walnut face scrub is my secret to a fresh face."
