Britney Spears’ Father Jamie’s Lawyers Say He’s Dedicated to ‘Protecting’ Britney in New Statement

ET has obtained a statement from lawyers representing Jamie Spears about the conservatorship over his daughter Britney. The statement comes after the New York Times and Hulu’s unauthorized documentary ‘Framing Britney Spears’ sparked a new interest in the #FreeBritney movement. Jamie’s attorneys say in part, ‘His love for his daughter and dedication to protecting her is clearly apparent to the court.’ The statement comes from Vivian L. Thoreen, Holland & Knight LLP. Thoreen appeared in the ‘Framing’ doc, speaking about conservatorships in general during a break from her time on Jamie’s legal team.
