India Oxenberg ‘Pretty Shocked’ at Allison Mack's Sentencing in NXIVM Case (Exclusive)

ET spoke with India Oxenberg just hours after Allison Mack was sentenced to three years in prison after pleading guilty to racketeering charges related to her involvement in NXIVM, a group known to be a cult. The former ‘Smallville’ actress was first arrested in April 2018 after the organization was exposed as a pyramid scheme that forced its female recruits into sexual slavery. Oxenberg, a former member of NXIVM (and sub-organization DOS, overseen by Mack and the organization’s mastermind Keith Raniere), documented her escape from it in the Starz documentary series ‘Seduced.’ She shared a victim impact statement ahead of Mack’s sentencing, and tells ET she does accept Mack’s apology. Oxenberg also discusses what’s next for her and if she feels like Mack going to prison closes this chapter of her life.
