Kathryn Newton Opens Up About ‘The Society’ Cancellation and Not Knowing What She Was Going to Do Next

Kathryn Newton and Kyle Allen talk to ET’s Ash Crossan about their new romantic-comedy time-loop movie, ‘The Map of Tiny Perfect Things,’ streaming on Amazon Prime Video on Feb. 12. Newton opens up about the cancellation of her hit Netflix series ‘The Society,’ revealing whether she thinks the show will come back and how she got a call from Marvel one week later. Newton will star as Cassie Lang in the third ‘Ant-Man’ movie, ‘Ant-Man: Quantumania,’ which was announced during the recent Disney Investor Day by MCU head honcho Kevin Feige. As for her ‘Map of Tiny Perfect Things’ co-star Kyle Allen, he’ll be snapping and dancing along in the upcoming ‘West Side Story,’ and says the upcoming Steven Spielberg-directed rendition will ‘blow some minds.’
