Queen Elizabeth II Makes Return to Royal Engagements Following Prince Philip’s Funeral

Queen Elizabeth II conducted her first series of royal engagements following Prince Philip’s funeral. On Tuesday, the monarch remained in Windsor Castle for her virtual meetings with incoming ambassadors. Prince William and Kate Middleton previously returned to their royal duties with an in-person engagement on April 21, which also happened to be their grandmother’s 95th birthday. Royal expert Katie Nicholl told ET that the Queen’s milestone birthday was a private, ‘somber’ affair.
