Rachael Leigh Cook is taking a stroll down memory lane to relive the magic of her iconic ‘90s films like ‘She’s All That,’ ‘Josie and the Pussycats’ and ‘The Baby-Sitters Club.’ The now 40-year-old actress shared her fondest memories of working on the beloved projects including on-set crushes, lifelong friendships with her co-stars and even shared the secret of how she avoided the pitfalls of childhood stardom. Rachael recalled a particularly hilarious story from when she accidentally went to a meeting to land a new role still wearing her prosthetic unibrow as Laney Boggs. She also praised Malia Baker who took on the role of Mary Anne in Netflix’s reboot of ‘The Baby-Sitters Club,’ the same part that Rachael played in the franchise’s 1995 film. With the 20-year anniversary of ‘Josie and the Pussycats’ coming up in April 2021, Rachael reflected on her time making the comedy, and even opened up about meeting Lisa ‘Left Eye’ Lopes during the casting process. Up next, Rachael stars in a new rom-com that she also produced, ‘Love, Guaranteed,’ out Sept. 3 on Netflix.
