TikTok Creators Mya Johnson and Chris Cotter Address Addison Rae 'Tonight Show' Backlash (Exclusive)

ET’s Denny Directo caught up with creators of the viral TikTok dance to Cardi B’s ‘Up,’ Mya Johnson and Chris Cotter, to get their take on the recent controversy surrounding Addison Rae’s performance of a version of their dance on ‘The Tonight Show.' Because the show did not give credit to Mya, Chris and the other TikTok choreographers who created the moves Rae demonstrated, many voiced disappointment with the segment online. Soon after, NBC invited Mya, Chris and a few other creators onto the show to perform their dances. The Houston-based creators tell us how they feel about the show’s invitation and whether they think Rae deserves all the backlash she’s since received.
