Meghan Markle's 'Suits' Co-Stars Celebrate Her Engagement to Prince Harry

"Wonderful news, I wish you both a lifetime of happiness."

Meghan Markle not only has her parents' blessing to marry Prince Harry, she also has the support of her Suits family!

After the 36-year-old actress and Prince Harry announced their engagement on Monday, Markle’s co-stars took to social media to congratulate the bride-to-be.

Wendell Pierce -- who portrays Markle’s father, Robert Zane, on the USA show -- tweeted his excitement, writing: "Congratulations to my TV daughter Meghan Markle and Prince Harry on the news of their wedding engagement. Harry you have her TV Father’s blessing. Robert Zane approves."

Meanwhile, Patrick J. Adams -- who portrays Markle's love interest on Suits -- made a little joke about the engagement news, tweeting: "She said she was just going out to get some milk..."

The executive producer of the series also gushed over Markle's engagement. "Congratulations to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry on their engagement," he wrote. "Wonderful news, I wish you both a lifetime of happiness."

In their first joint interview together after announcing their engagement, Harry admitted that he had never seen Suits before meeting Markle. "I'd never heard of Meghan before and I was beautifully surprised when I walked into that room and saw her and there she was sitting there," he said. "I was like, 'Wow, OK, I'm going to have to up my game here. I'm going to sit down and make sure I got a good chat.'"

Last year, the actress' character on the cable series, Rachel Zane, nearly got married in the fifth season, and sported a wedding dress that Markle admitted sort of matched her own sense of style.

"Classic and simple is the name of the game, perhaps with a modern twist," she told Glamour magazine when asked about her preferences when it comes to bridal gowns. "I personally prefer wedding dresses that are whimsical or subtly romantic."
