ET has learned that 36-year-old Jersey Shore star Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino married his college sweetheart, Lauren Pesce, on Thursday, at The Legacy Castle in Pompton Plains, New Jersey.

A source tells ET the Jersey Shore cast, including Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Jenni “JWoww” Farley, Ronnie Ortiz-Margo, Deena Nicole Cortese, Paul “Pauly D” DelVecchio and Vinny Guadagnino, attended the ceremony. The source says that Farley and Polizzi’s daughters, Meilani and Giovanna, were flower girls.

The source adds that Ortiz-Magro’s on-and-off girlfriend, Jen Harley, also attended the wedding with the couple’s daughter, Ariana.

“We are so incredibly excited to begin our journey as husband and wife!" the couple said in a statement confirming the news to UsWeekly. "We are each other’s best friend and together we can handle anything. Thank you to all our family, friends and fans who have supported us every step of the way. Gym, Tan, Laurens is the new GTL! With Love, Mr. & Mrs. Michael Sorrentino."

ET has reached out to Sorrentino's reps.

Sorrentino and Pesce got engaged in April, and the proposal was aired during an episode of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. The couple first met in college and began dating four years before he joined Jersey Shore in 2009. Although they later parted ways, they got back together in 2012, and have been going strong ever since.

Earlier this month, Sorrentino revealed his wedding date on Instagram alongside a picture of Pesce kissing him on the cheek.

"#Thehitchuation is happening November 1st, 2018," he wrote. "I will be marrying @lauren_pesce My rock, my best friend, my better half & my soul mate. You are my everything & I am so excited to call you Mrs Situation  #gymtanlaurens."

ET spoke to the Jersey Shore: Family Vacation cast in June, when Sorrentino shared that he hadn't yet picked a best man for his wedding.

While Vinny Guadagnino initially quipped, "You're going to need three best men" -- referring to himself as well as fellow Jersey Shore stars Pauly D and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro -- he later noted, "Whatever he wants. We love this guy." Meanwhile, Pauly D said he would be "honored" to stand beside Sorrentino.

As for his epic proposal, Sorrentino said it was a dream for him to propose on the hit MTV show.

"I always dreamed of doing a proposal on Jersey Shore, and for years we didn't have Jersey Shore," he noted. "So when it came back to the forefront and everyone was going, I was like, 'You know what? I'm going to do it.' And finally, I was able to do it. My best friends were all there. We did it in such a big way…It is so dope."

In March, he also gushed to ET over Pesce.

"She is the one for sure," he said. "She's been through, you know, good times and bad times, the ups and downs. She saw me at my worst and she deserves me at my best."

Sorrentino's big day comes after his prison date was recently pushed to 2019 thanks to a judge approving a request from his lawyer, Henry Klingeman. Sorrentino was sentenced to eight months in prison and two years of supervised release earlier this month for tax evasion.

He will now have to check himself into prison on Jan. 15, 2019, instead of later this year, so that he can spend time with his family over the holidays.

Klingeman told ET that Sorrentino is “doing great under the circumstances."

"He’s nervous but resolved to see this through as he has been since he got sober," he shared.
