Chris Hemsworth Prepares for his 'Mighty' Film Debut

Sydney, Australia played host to the world premiere of Marvel Studios' 'Thor ' on Sunday April 17th, and the cast was on hand to give details to what may prove to be this year's standout summer blockbuster.
The film's director Kenneth Branagh confessed that although he just "finished the movie one week ago," he assures fans that the IMAX 3-D experience will be so intense, it will "practically give you a costume."
Hunky newcomer Chris Hemsworth plays the mighty Thor, a powerful but arrogant warrior who reignites an ancient war, and as punishment for his actions, is cast down to Earth and forced to live among humans. Hemsworth admits, although he was excited to get the part, the first thing he noticed when he read the books was "how big the guy was." To get his body into warrior shape, Hemsworth trained in the gym six to seven days a week for six months, adding that his biggest challenge was a diet of "dry chicken breast, and steak and fish" in enormous portions.
'Thor' also includes a cast of big names such as Anthony Hopkins and Natalie Portman.
