Samantha Harris Dons Wings for Angel Ball 2011

ET's Samantha Harris donned her angel wings Monday night to emcee the Gabrielle's Angel Foundation for Cancer Research gala Angel Ball 2011, hosted by songwriter Denise Rich and her two daughters on Wall Street in New York City.

"This is my second year hosting this wonderful Angel Ball, which of course raises money for cancer research -- I'm thrilled to be back for the second year in a row," says Samantha. "Thankfully there are so many wonderful cancer charity events, but Denise Rich has been able to raise, so far, $16 million over the years for Gabrielle's Angel Foundation for Cancer Research."

Honoring Naomi Campbell, Romero Britto, Vladislav Doronin and Dr. Khalid Bin Jabor Al-Thani, the Angel Ball featured such attending stars as Kim Kardashian and Star Jones, ET Senior Producer Sharlette Hambrick, and Beyonce's mother, Tina Knowles, who was on-hand to deliver the latest on her daughter's upcoming first baby: "She is doing great, enjoying her pregnancy -- we couldn't be more excited," Tina told ET.

Gabrielle's Angel Foundation for Cancer Research was founded by Grammy-nominated songwriter Denise Rich in memory of her daughter Gabrielle, who lost her long and valiant struggle with acute myelogenous leukemia (AML) at the young age of 27. The Foundation's mission is to encourage the development of more effective therapies for patients with leukemia, lymphoma and related cancers, including alternative or complementary medicine. To date, the organization has given some $16 million in grants.

"We are one of the largest sources of non-governmental funding for blood cancer research," Denise tells ET.

Also hosted by Denise's daughters Daniella Rich Kilstock and Ilona Rich Schachter, the Angel Ball 2011 featured performances by Patti LaBelle, Nile Rodgers & CHIC and The Voice's Javier Colon.
