Chris Brown Calls Fatherhood a 'Humbling' Experience: 'Everything Is About Her'

Chris Brown is gushing about being a daddy to daughter Royalty.

Chris Brown has not been a father for long, but he couldn't be more proud to be one.

The singer may have won both the Best Male R&B/Pop Artist and Fandemonium Awards at the 2015 BET Awards on Sunday, but it was his 1-year-old daughter Royalty that he couldn't stop gushing about.

While accepting the Fandemonium Award, for instance, Brown told the audience, "The thing I'm most thankful for is my daughter."

After the show, ET caught up with Brown, who said fatherhood is not only new to him, but has also been a "humbling" experience.

"Being a father is great. I've been able to set aside my own wants and necessities for my daughter," he said. "Everything is about her."

The 26-year-old artist also spoke about how Royalty inspires him when it comes to his music.

"Whether it's performing or writing songs, I always have her in mind just to keep me focused," he happily shared.
