Blake Lively's Epic Throwback Photo Shows She's Been Preparing for 'The Shallows' Most of Her Life
The actress' childhood pic is too perfect!
Blake Lively’s upcoming shark action film The Shallows required the now-pregnant star to test her limits. But thanks to an adorable throwback photo, it’s clear that the actress has been prepping for this role for most of her life.
“There’s only one thing more terrifying than this…” she captioned an Instagram photo of herself sitting on a rock in the movie.
She then posted a throwback pic of her younger self wearing a swimsuit and posing on a rock with Little Mermaid decals, writing, “…THIS.”

Lively recently returned from a glamorous trip to the Cannes Film Festival where she dazzled in a series of stunning maternity looks. In addition to promoting her upcoming Woody Allen film, Café Society, Lively also promoted the action movie.
In the film she plays a surfer who is attacked by a shark and has to find her way to safety.
The Shallows hits theaters on June 29.
