Zachary Quinto Mourns Death of Dog Noah: 'In Loving Him I Learned to Love Myself More Fully'

Zachary Quinto is mourning the loss of his beloved dog, Noah.

The 39-year-old actor shared an emotional dedication to his precious "prince" on Instagram on Thursday.

"Anyone who has ever truly known me in the last 14 years has known this true prince," he captioned a sweet selfie with the pooch. "Noah has been by my side through up and down, thick and thin, feast and famine. In loving him I learned to love myself more fully."

"He taught me compassion and patience and generosity," Quinto continued. "And oh how he made me laugh. He made friends wherever he went. His spirit was pure. His love was legend. I am a better person for having had him in my life, but tonight we had to let him go. Surrounded by love he went to sleep. And may he forever rest in peace."

Quinto's boyfriend, Miles McMillan, also shared a touching Instagram tribute to Noah writing in part, "I'll always remember his big grin and how happy he always was to get a little lovin.'"

Quinto isn't the only celeb to recently lose a pet. Salma Hayek mourned the death of her dog​,​​​ Blue​,​ last Friday. ​Blue's death
came just over a year after Hayek's other dog, Mozart, was fatally shot while trespassing on a neighbor's property.
