ET's Last Interview with Robin Gibb

Robin Gibb of the Bee Gees will forever be remembered as one of music's greatest singer/songwriters. Today, in light of his passing, we're looking back at our last interview with the music icon, which was conducted backstage at Dancing with the Stars in 2009.

Robin sat alongside his brother and fellow Bee Gee Barry Gibb, chatting about the group's reunion while still mourning the loss of their brother Maurice, who passing away in 2003.

"It's been a hard time for us since Maurice died, and we've dealt with it in our own way," Robin said. "And it's taken about six years to actually come to terms with losing [Maurice] and getting together again and actually seeing each other in a different way with new eyes."

Robin and Barry performed You Should Be Dancing for a Dancing with the Stars results show.

"It's nice to get back in the saddle," said Robin. He later added, "We've got one of the biggest catalogs in the world, and this is something we want to celebrate."

Robin Gibb died on May 20 at the age of 62 following a long battle with cancer. Barry Gibb is now the last remaining original member of the Bee Gees.
