Aretha Franklin sings 'Happy Birthday' to the soon-to-be 25-year-old singer.

This is one birthday gift Taylor Swift will never forget.

The soon-to-be 25-year-old singer was serenaded by music legend Aretha Franklin during Billboard's Women in Music luncheon on Friday, where Swift was being honored as Woman of the Year for the second time.

“Raise your hand in the audience if you’ve got a birthday tomorrow,” asked the event’s host Matt Lauer, leading Taylor’s hand to shoot up. “Oh! That’s me!”

Aretha then led a beautiful rendition of "Happy Birthday" to a shocked Taylor, who could not contain her excitement over the once-in-a-lifetime moment. It was topped off by Taylor blowing out five candles on a birthday cake in front of a packed house.

Hours later, the "Blank Space" singer still couldn't get over Aretha's unexpected birthday present, taking to Twitter to express her deep gratitude.

Taylor, who shared the stage with fellow honorees Aretha, Idina Menzel, Ariana Grande, Hayley Williams, Iggy Azalea, Charli XCX and Jessie J, cracked jokes at the event about her upcoming birthday.

"I turn 25 at midnight tonight, and I fully intend to celebrate like it's 1989,” Taylor said in her speech at the New York City event. "I knew it was a bad joke when I wrote it, and I just did it anyway!"

Meanwhile, Taylor's BFF Selena Gomez was already getting the party started, posting a pic of cool nail art of an "S" and a "T" in celebration of their friendship.

Earlier this month, Taylor rocked her debut performance of "Style", scored a few GRAMMY nominations and just a few days ago, hung out with Kendall Jenner and model GiGi Hadid as they got ready for the holidays and helped the singer decorate her NYC apartment.
