The 32-year-old model shot down anyone quick to criticize Swift for her new relationship.

Taylor Swift has found herself a new friend in Amber Rose.

Rose might not be a part of Swift's squad, but she is on her side when it comes to being able to date whoever she wants, whenever she wants.

The 32-year-old star told The Daily Beast why she stands behind Swift and doesn't agree with the dating double standard women are held to – in a recent interview.

In late May, Swift – who has a history of dating a LOT of Hollywood’s finest men, and not staying single for long – broke up with Calvin Harris after more than a year of dating. It was one of Swift's longest relationships to date, but she was linked to Tom Hiddleston only a few weeks after news of the split went public.

"I did see that and I think she's f***ing awesome," Rose told The Daily Beast when asked about Swift and Hiddleston's steamy makeout pics. "I mean, I don't know if it's staged—but that’s how it is! I was on a private beach in Maui—you literally had to drive three hours from the airport to get to this beach—and paparazzi still caught me."

Rose was romantically linked to rapper Kanye West -- with whom Swift has had a longstanding feud -- from 2008-10, but says, "I love Taylor, for sure." She also defended the singer against the backlash from fans and critics alike who feel she moved on too quickly from her relationship with Harris.

"I feel like guys do that all the time—they break up and the next day they're with another girl and nobody really says anything," said the 32-year-old model, whose VH1 series, The Amber Rose Show, debuts on July 8. "But with Taylor it's, you know what, I'm done with Calvin [Harris] and it didn't work out, so on to the next."

The future late-night talk-show host elaborated on why dating around shouldn't be a big deal for women saying, "It is because it's unheard of, and she's acting very 'slutty' and for some reason needs time to 'let her p**** rest."

"That's how people look at it, and it's just like, hell no! If I'm done, why do I have to sit in the house and be lonely?" Rose added.
