Last week, Depp responded to Heard's legal request for financial information with a filing of his own. The 53-year-old actor asked the court for a confidentiality agreement with Heard, and requested a protective order on all documents in their divorce case.

So far, Heard has refused to sign any agreement to maintain confidentiality in the case. In the court documents, Depp's attorney, Laura Wasser, alleges the that Heard and her counsel, Samantha Spector, have already participated in at least one media story, leaking specific provisions from prior settlement communications.

In new documents obtained by ET, Heard claims that Depp's non-disclosure agreement is unacceptable because it calls for a $100,000 fine each time his financial information is leaked. The 30-year-old actress says it's an outrageous demand and a ploy to "thwart" their divorce proceedings.

"[Depp] and his counsel's demand for the execution of these two non-disclosure agreements which impose undue financial hardships and burdens on [Heard] are nothing but blatant threats by [Depp] and are illustrative of his continued attempts to thwart real progress in this case," state the court documents.

"In reality, it has been, and continues to be [Depp] who refuses to be forthright with his financial information and has stymied resolution of this case," the documents continues. "[Depp] has been stonewalling the progress of this case, by refusing to provide the most basic financial documents."

Heard filed for divorce from Depp in May. She was later granted a temporary restraining order after alleging that Depp was both emotionally and physically abusive towards her throughout their relationship. Depp has not addressed the claims directly, however Wasser has claimed in previous court documents that the actress is "attempting to secure a premature financial resolution by alleging abuse."

While both Depp and Heard seem to be keeping a low profile amid the legal drama, the Oscar-nominated actor recently sat down with L.A.'s 95.5 KLOS Jonesy's Jukebox, where he discussed the "drag" of living his life in the spotlight.
