The 17-year-old walked the red carpet at the opening of #girlgaze at the Annenberg Space for Photography Skylight Studios on Friday in Los Angeles, sporting a '90s look reminiscent of one Reese Witherspoon sported to the premiere of Nowhere in 1997.
As if the mother-daughter pair didn't look enough alike, Ava accessorized her ensemble with a black choker necklace and chunky boots -- just like Reese!

Ava's not only taking fashion advice, she's giving it. In a recent interview with the Today show, Reese revealed that she depends on her daughter's "brutal honesty" on her daily outfit choices.
"I usually ask my daughter, my 17-year-old daughter, 'Does this look good?' and she'll be honest with me," she explained. "She'll be like, 'No. You do not look good. You cannot wear that.' So I depend on her brutal honesty."
