See Why Alex Rodriguez 'Really Upset' Chef Paul During 'Wahlburgers' Cameo (Exclusive)

Paul's brother Donnie meanwhile encouraged him to be more like Rodriguez' superstar fiance Lopez when it comes to social media!

Alex Rodriguez reports for kitchen duty in the premiere of the tenth and final season of A&E's Wahlburgers on Wednesday, and it seems the baseball star ruffled a few feathers!

Rodriguez stops in to flip burgers, make margaritas and even clean bathrooms at the chain’s store near Fenway Park, Boston, as the result of a bet between him and Mark Wahlberg back in August.

The bet saw the former New York Yankees player (and subsequent “enemy” of the Wahlbergs, who fiercely support their hometown baseball team, the Boston Red Sox) agree to work a day at Wahlburgers if the Red Sox beat the Yankees in their next game.

But after losing the bet and reporting to work, it wasn’t his cooking skills that “upset” Chef Paul Wahlberg -- rather, the 43-year-old athlete’s overly-charming attitude!

“I’ll tell you -- I’m really upset about it,” Paul tells his brother, Donnie Wahlberg, in ET’s exclusive preview clip of the episode, airing 9 p.m. ET/PT on Wednesday.

“He was so fricken nice! Like, he was nice! He was nice through the whole thing. He bats his eyes at you and you’re like, 'Oh my God, it’s A Rod.'”

However, selfie king, Donnie, is more concerned about whether Paul cashed in on Rodriguez’s visit, by getting some photos of the star, who has a huge social media reach, partly through his superstar fiancé, Jennifer Lopez.

“Forget about whether A Rod was a nice guy or not,” Donnie says. “Did you get any video or pictures of him?”

“I’m sorry, no. I was working,” responds Paul, whose Instagram account boasts more than 50,000 followers but only one, four-year-old post. “What do you mean, photos? There were people filming, so that’s enough.”

Unimpressed, the New Kids on the Block singer then shows how even Lopez re-posted Rodriguez getting into action at the restaurant.

“There’s Alex Rodriguez working at Wahlburgers -- posted by J Lo, who has 89 million followers,” Donnie says, showing the post on his phone. “You know how many 89 million is? It’s about 88 million more people than are watching this show right now.”

“Get on social media you freakin’ potato head!” Donnie, 49, concludes, fed up with his big bro.

The premiere episode also follows the brothers as they head to Des Moines, Iowa, for the grand opening of their new store, and shows their ever-hilarious mom, Alma, crushing on Paul’s young and hunky personal chef, Lawrence -- much to Paul’s disgust. “I’m not supposed to be older than my stepdad!” he says.

Later, Alma continues to admire young hunks by attending a painting session, where the model is a young, nude man.

The popular reality series, produced by 44 Blue Productions, premiered in 2014 and has chronicled the famous family as they expand their burger chain from one restaurant in Massachusetts to more than 30 restaurants across the U.S. as well as international stores.

Coming episodes will follow Paul, 55, and Mark, 47, as they work with the military to open further restaurants in American military bases around the world.

“Creating the Wahlburgers restaurants has been an incredible experience and we are so grateful to have shared it with A&E viewers these last nine seasons,” Mark said in a press release from A&E.

“It’s been an amazing journey that has brought us closer together as a family and launched our little business to heights we never could’ve imagined,” Donnie added.
