The couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Italy about eight months ago.

Twilight's Esme is married!

Elizabeth Reaser reveals that she and her now-husband, Bruce Gilbert, exchanged vows in a private elopement ceremony in Italy in August 2023.

In an interview with Vogue, Elizabeth shares the intimate details of their romantic escape. Rather than opting for a grand affair, the couple eloped, accompanied only by a few friends as witnesses. Among those friends were fellow celebrity couple Sarah Paulson and Holland Taylor, who officiated the wedding.

The ceremony was enchanting, with Elizabeth gracing the aisle in a simple yet elegant Danielle Frankel gown adorned with minimal jewelry and makeup. Bruce, a decorated composer with an Academy Award for his work on Everything Everywhere All At Once, orchestrated a picturesque scene with a mandolin player and guitarist serenading his bride's walk down the aisle.

The ceremony started at 5 p.m. at the Wagner Garden of Hotel Caruso, which offers breathtaking views of the Amalfi Coast.

Elizabeth reflects on the experience, telling the magazine, "It was so beautiful that we stopped at the end of the aisle and had an impromptu first dance. I think it may have been the purest moment of happiness in my life."

Following the heartfelt exchange of vows, the newlyweds and their closest friends celebrated with champagne and danced the night away. Elizabeth, overwhelmed with emotion, confesses to Vogue, "It was the most intense experience. Something happened to us when we said the vows. It did change everything. I was trying not to cry the whole time except for when I was laughing."

Elizabeth's love story with Bruce began in 2017 when they crossed paths in their shared Silver Lake neighborhood in Los Angeles. Their initial encounter? A chance meeting during a dog playdate, where their beloved pets played matchmakers. "We owe our dogs everything!" Elizabeth fondly recounts.

Fast forward to 2022, when Bruce proposed to Elizabeth at her "favorite place in the world," Hotel Il San Pietro di Positano in Italy. Inspired by the magic of that moment, the couple decided to seal their love on the stunning Amalfi Coast the following year.

Elizabeth isn’t the only Twilight star having a big year. Edward Cullen, better known as Robert Pattinson, welcomed his first child in March with actress Suki Waterhouse

The Daisy Jones and the Six star, 32, took to Instagram late Thursday evening to share the first photo of the new addition to their family. In the ethereal polaroid picture, Waterhouse poses for the camera while cradling the swaddled newborn.

"welcome to the world angel ❤️," the British model, actress and musician captioned the photo.

In the comments, Waterhouse's famous friends -- including The Vampire Diaries star Nina Dobrev and socialite Paris Hilton -- flooded the post with their congratulations for the new parents.

"Congratulations love! So happy for you both!🥰," responded Hilton.

"♥️❣️♥️ congratulations ♥️❣️♥️," wrote Dobrev.

While Waterhouse did not comment on the sex, name or date of the child's birth, Daily Mail reported in March that the longtime couple had welcomed their first child after she announced her pregnancy at the Corona Capital Festival in Mexico last November. During her set, Waterhouse hilariously pointed out the elephant in the room: her growing baby bump underneath what she hoped would be an eye-catching (and distracting) outfit.

"I'm wearing something sparkly today because I thought it might distract you from something else that's going on," she told the crowd at the time. "I'm not sure if it's working."

Prior to the announcement, a source told ET, "Suki Waterhouse and Rob Pattinson are expecting their first child together. She is so happy, excited, and appreciative of this experience. Suki and Rob are adorable together."

The actress and her 37-year-old actor beau have been together since July 2018, and have kept their relationship incredibly private over the years. In December, a source confirmed to ET that they were engaged.

"They're incredibly happy and excited for their future together as a couple and family," the source said.

Back in January, ET spoke with Waterhouse at the Emmy Awards, where she sported her baby bump underneath a gorgeous red dress, which she addressed in the interview.

"This dress was actually difficult to put together," Waterhouse said at the time. "They really had to take it apart and re-design it to make it fit, 'cause a lot of the fittings was just me holding [my bump] and just being like, 'Oh, this is nice,' but it didn't seem like it was gonna happen."
