The actress is the latest to chime in on Drake's ongoing beef with Rick Ross, Kendrick Lamar and others.
Drake may be facing off against several of his hip-hop peers at the moment, but he has one person on his side: Uma Thurman.
The 37-year-old rapper has been in a lyrical war over the past month, catching heat from Kendrick Lamar, Future, Metro Boomin, A$AP Rocky, The Weeknd and Rick Ross, and a post to his Instagram Story earned him the surprising support of Thurman, 53.
On Sunday, Drake posted a still of Thurman's character, The Bride, surrounded by armed assailants from 2003's Kill Bill: Volume 1 to his Story. Fans concluded that the image was referring to Drake's several ongoing feuds, with the Canadian likening him to the story's hero who will soon emerge victorious.
Thurman caught wind of Drake's Story and responded in her own Instagram Story, sharing an image of the Kill Bill costume wrapped in plastic for storage and tagging the musician. "Need this?" Thurman wrote over the photo.
"Yes pls. The pen is Hattori Hanzō," Drake wrote in a repost, comparing his lyrical skills to the famed samurai.
The unexpected social media interaction came after several of Drake's previous collaborators took jabs at the For All The Dogs rapper.
While it all began with Drake and J. Cole's October 2023 release of "First Person Shooter" -- in which Cole called him, Drake and Lamar the "Big 3" of rap -- Lamar's response is what seemingly ignited the lyrical war against Drake.
In March, Lamar featured on Future and Metro Boomin's "Like That," a song released as part of the pair's new collaborative album, We Don't Trust You.
In Lamar's verse, he declares "motherf**k the big three," adding "it's just big me." Lamar also responded to "First Person Shooter" by adding: "f**k sneak dissin', first-person shooter, I hope they came with three switches."
Lamar also takes a direct shot at Drake, comparing the "One Dance" rapper to Michael Jackson and himself to Prince. "What? I'm really like that/And your best work is a light pack/N----, Prince outlived Mike Jack'/N----, bum," Lamar raps. "'Fore all your dogs gettin' buried/ That's a K with all these nines, he gon' see Pet Sematary."
The track was followed by the release of We Don't Trust You, which features appearances from The Weeknd, A$AP Rocky, and even Cole himself.
The Weeknd seemingly takes a shot at Drake on the track "All to Myself," in which he sings: "They could never diss my brothers, baby/When they got leaks in they operation/I thank God that I never signed my life away."
On the song "Show of Hands," A$AP seemingly hits back at Drake after the OVO label founder seemingly took a dig at the father of two and his lady love, Rihanna, whom Drake dated on and off between 2009 and 2018.
"Call up Pluto, Metro, should've put me on the first one / N****s swear they b**ch the baddest, I just bagged the worst one/ N****s in they feelings over women, what, you hurt or somethin'? / I smash before you birthed, son, Flacko hit it first, son," A$AP raps.
Drake has allegedly gotten his lick back against his adversaries. On Saturday, a diss track attributed to the rapper titled "Push Ups (Drop and Give Me 50)" surfaced on social media, per Rolling Stone. The song later premiered in media personality DJ Akademiks' Twitch stream.
In the leaked track, Drake takes aim at Lamar, calling him a "pipsqueak" and claiming he wears a "size 7" shoe. Drake even names Lamar's wife, Whitney, while referencing Whitney Houston's role in the 1992 film The Bodyguard. He raps that SZA, 21 Savage and Travis Scott hold more weight than Lamar does in the music business.
"Pipsqueak, pipe down/ You ain't in no big three, SZA got you wiped down/ Travis got you wiped down, Savage got you wiped down/ Like your label, boy, you in the scope right now," Drake raps.
While 21 Savage and Scott haven't responded to the lyrics, SZA seemingly reacted on her Instagram Story by sharing a clip of NeNe Leakes from her Real Housewives of Atlanta tenure where she questions, "Now, why am I in it? See how I get thrown into stuff? I ain't even did nothing."
Drake also jabbed at Rick Ross, whom seemingly picked a side when he filmed himself playing "Like That" on social media upon its release.
"Can't believe he jumpin' in, this n--a turnin' fifty/ Every song that made it on the chart, he got from Drizzy," Drake raps on "Push Ups."
Ross was quick to respond that same night with his track, "Champagne Moments," which was also teased on Akademiks' Twitch stream. On the track, Ross accuses Drake of having "ghostwriters," claims he got plastic surgery on his nose, and declares that Young Money Entertainment CEO Lil Wayne "gave [Drake] the juice."
Ross even took to social media to get a rise out of Drake, using the hashtag "#BBLDrizzy" on X (formerly Twitter) and posting an illustration of a nose with the hastag #NOSEJOBPAPI, a reference to Drake's Instagram handle, champangepapi.
