Candace Cameron Bure Says Sadie Robertson's Wedding Was 'Magical' (Exclusive)

ET sat down with the actress ahead of the premiere of her Hallmark Channel movie, 'Christmas Town.'

Candace Cameron Bure and her family had a blast at Sadie Robertson's wedding.

The actress stopped by ET Live on Wednesday to chat about her new Hallmark movie, Christmas Town, where she also touched on her family attending the reality star's nuptials to Christian Huff.

"I have to say it was probably the largest wedding I have ever been to," Bure -- who met Robertson through their participation on Dancing With the Stars -- told ET's Katie Krause. "It was so beautiful. Magical is a great word for it because the two of them together was magical. Everything, from the twinkle lights to inside the tent and then the dancing. The food was amazing, Cajun food. It was a really good, fun, fun night."

Bure and her husband, Valeri Bure, are parents to 21-year-old daughter Natasha, 19-year-old son Lev and 17-year-old son Maksim. The parents are currently "empty nesters," but remain close to their kids.

"I thought I was going to get one more year with one of my kids at home," Bure revealed. "Then Maks left a little early to go play [hockey] but it was such a great opportunity for him and he's so happy. So I'm happy. As a mom, you just want your kids to enjoy where they're at and they're all doing well and have a good head on their shoulders."

As for how she and her husband handle the kids dating, Bure admits that Valeri is a little more protective of his daughter.

"[Natasha] doesn't want to bring any more home until she thinks they can pass the test for her dad," Bure explained. "Just that he's respectful and well-mannered and, of course, going to treat her well. I think there's a thing that when you grow up in Los Angeles, sometimes manners go out the door."

"Sometimes kids come over and it’s a little too casual for our preference and I'm like, 'I'm not your friend. You're my daughter's friend or my son's friend. But I'm not your friend yet,'" she explained. "You want a respect factor and sometimes the kids don’t have that and my husband picks up on that right away and he doesn’t like it."

But she does make sure to give them some dating advice. "I just want them to respect themselves," she shared. "I want them to respect who they are dating, to treat them well and just know that they are all worthy and of value and so is that person that they are dating."

Meanwhile, Bure stars opposite Tim Rozon in the Hallmark Original Channel movie, which follows Lauren, a woman who leaves everything behind in Boston to start a new chapter in her career. That is until she detours to the charming town of Grandon Falls and discovers how the magic of Christmas can really shake things up.

"This one focuses on family that's community and also fostering children and adoption," she explained. "When she goes to Grandon Falls, this little town that's known as Christmas Town, she meets this very handsome man, who's fostering a 9-year-old boy and we learn that Lauren has lived through the foster care system her whole life. So she finally meets a family within the community that she's never had before."

Christmas Town premieres Sunday, Dec. 1 on Hallmark Channel.
