Best Movie Premiere Look

Kicking off our list is this gorgeous gal, who made numerous headlines this year for her ultra-chic take on maternity wear. The blond beauty, who was pregnant with her and husband Ryan Reynolds' now two-month-old daughter, pulled out all the stops with her adorable look, consisting of a gray Carolina Herrera mini dress with baby pink poms, at the Café Society premiere in New York City.

The 38-year-old actress never fails to impress us with her red carpet looks, but the Ellie Saab one-shoulder ethereal frock she wore to the London premiere of her latest movie, Doctor Strange, had us doing a triple take. The beauty is all in the dress' detailing, which featured blue bird embroidery, tulle and gold beaded dots.

Best of the Award Shows

Red carpet royalty! The Miracles From Heaven actress stunned in a breathtaking Atelier Versace gown, which consisted of a sparkly black beading on the bodice and a draped train, paired with diamond bracelets, drop earrings with a pop of green and Rene Caovilla sandals.

The "Out of the Woods" singer took a major risk with her red carpet ensemble, but pulled it off perfectly. Swift wore a neon orange crop top with a high-waisted bright pink skirt, topping off the trendy Atelier Versace look with a sparkly choker, blunt bob and her signature red pout.

Fab in floral! The Good Place actress was a dreamy delight on the red carpet, clad in a Zuhair Murad couture gown with Brian Atwood shoes, Harry Winston jewelry and a Jimmy Choo clutch. "I love Zuhair Murad," she gushed to ET. "I think he's such a talented designer and I wanted to do something more whimsical and this was perfect."

Golden Globes: Jennifer Lopez

The "Ain't Your Mama" singer brightened up the award show by stepping out in a yellow Giambattista Valli cape dress, which she styled with 240 carats of Harry Winston diamonds.

The Big Bang Theory
star showed off her enviable fit figure in a black one-shoulder Romona Keveza dress. Her slicked-back top knot, smokey eye and simple black stud earrings pulled the edgy-meets-chic look together perfectly.

Like Lopez, one of the "Vice" singer's most memorable looks from 2016 was a yellow silk pleated Christian Siriano gown. And while her dress was fabulous on its own, her bright pink Joyce Echols heels -- which featured a mini gun and holster on the side -- amped up the hotness as she and boyfriend Anderson East made their red carpet debut as couple.

Fashion's biggest party of the year brought out many stunning (and bizarre!) outfits, but none leveled up to the amazing, one-of-a-kind ball gown the Homeland star rocked. The light blue Zac Posen dress, which gave us major Cinderella vibes, illuminated as Danes made her way into the "Manus x Machina: Fashion In An Age Of Technology" themed soiree.

Best Live TV Look: Julianne Hough

Backstage at Dancing With the Stars, the 28-year-old dancer wowed us every week during season 23 of the popular dance competition show. We think it's safe to say her glam looks deserve a mirror ball trophy of their own!

Best of the Kardashians: Kylie Jenner

Although the lip kit maven's older sister, Kim Kardashian West, was responsible for many of the popular trends we saw in 2016, Jenner takes home the win in this category for the angelic, bedazzled Labourjoisie two-piece she donned at a Golden Globes after-party in Los Angeles.

Best LBD: Gigi Hadid

At the Spike TV Guys' Choice Awards in Culver City, California, the 21-year-old model sported a black high-neck David Koma dress with cut-out rings along the arms, chest and stomach. She styled the LBD with a pair of sky-high chrome stilettos and diamond stud earrings.

We still can't get over this incredibly sweet moment from the MTV Video Music Awards! Queen Bey hit the carpet in a see-through sequined dress by designer Francesco Scognamiglio and dazzling Lorraine Schwartz jewels, a look that was perfectly complemented by her mini-me. Blue was adorably dressed in a rose gold princess gown, which featured a tulle ballerina-inspired skirt, a silver headpiece and peach Timberlands.

Best Slit: Bella Hadid

Leaving very little to the imagination, and magically avoiding a wardrobe malfunction, the 20-year-old model rocked a bright red Alexandre Vauthier silk gown on the red carpet for The Unknown Girl premiere at The Cannes Film Festival.

Best Princess Gown: Gwen Stefani

Simply stunning! The "Misery" singer dressed to impress at Glamour's Women of the Year Awards in Hollywood, chic in an ombre draped halter neck Marchesa gown with a perfectly styled top knot.

Best Dressed Squad: The Kardashian-Jenner Clan

The famous family turned heads at Kanye West's Yeezy season 3 fashion show and The Life of Pablo album release party, held at Madison Square Garden in New York City. It's fitting that the crew was dressed in matching fur coats, seeing as West mentions the fashionable accessory in one of the verses from his "Freestyle 4" track: "I'm the ghetto Oprah, you know what that mean? You get a fur! You get a fur!"
