'General Hospital' Star Haley Pullos Surrenders to 90 Days in Jail After DUI, Wrong-Way Crash

The 25-year-old actress was charged with a DUI last April after a wrong-way crash on a Los Angeles freeway.

Exactly a year after Haley Pullos was arrested for her involvement in a wrong-way crash on the freeway, the former General Hospital star surrendered to 90 days in Pasadena City Jail, ET can confirm.

According to People, the 25-year-old actress pleaded no contest to the charges from the 2023 hit-and-run. Pullos' attorney, Mark Daniel Melnick, told the outlet that the soap star must also serve five years probation, 200 hours of community service and pay $8,260 in restitution to Courteney Wilder, the other driver involved in the crash.

"Haley is very grateful to the court for a minimum sentence and for recognizing her remorse and the strides she has made in her sobriety," Melnick said in a statement to the outlet.

Pullos is scheduled to be sentenced on July 29.

As previously reported, the hit-and-run occurred on April 29, 2023, in Pasadena, California. According to TMZ, which was the first to report the news, Pullos collided head-on with another car driving at approximately 60 miles per hour. When the California Highway Patrol arrived at the scene of the highway collision, the jaws of life were used to extract Pullos from her car. The other driver was reportedly hospitalized with major injuries.

Pullos was charged with two felony charges: felony driving under the influence of an alcoholic beverage causing injury, felony driving with a .08 percent blood alcohol content causing injury, and misdemeanor hit-and-run driving resulting in property damage.

In a statement to ET, the D.A.'s Office said, "Drunk driving remains a grave concern in our communities, claiming thousands of innocent lives each year. Charging Haley Pullos with a felony DUI causing injury underscores the severity of this alleged offense. As we approach the Fourth of July holiday weekend, we must recognize the heightened danger of drinking and driving during this time. Let us remain vigilant and make responsible choices to ensure a safe and joyful celebration, free from the devastating consequences of impaired driving."

Pullos entered a rehabilitation treatment facility following the crash, telling Soap Opera Digest in May 2023 that she was stepping back from the role as Molly Lansing-Davis on General Hospital after being involved in the collision and needing "a little time to recover."

Pullos portrayed the character since 2009. Pullos was originally replaced with actress Holiday Mia Kriegel, who took over the role from May 25 to July 14, 2023.

On July 19, 2023, the role of Molly was recast again, this time with actress Brooke Anne Smith. The actress portrayed the character until Sept. 25, 2023.

On Sept. 27, 2023, Molly was recast once more with actress Kristen Vaganos, who has maintained the role on a permanent basis since.
