Halle Bailey Hangs With Halle Berry: See The Sweet Moment

The two women have often been mixed up on the internet because of their similar names.

Halle squared!

Halle Berry and Halle Bailey had a sweet moment over the weekend -- and they made sure the internet saw it.

On Sunday, both women attended the  LA Galaxy versus Inter Miami home opener at Dignity Health Sports Park in California. After the star-studded event, Bailey took to social media to share a photo from their interaction.

"My night was made tonight 🥹i was so nervous 😭💘with the icon  @halleberry  ✨," the Little Mermaid star captioned the post on X (formally known as Twitter).

In the pics, the two women stand shoulder to shoulder as they smile for the camera. In one shot, Berry holds Bailey close as she is captured saying something to the camera.

The comments were filled with fans who celebrate the duo (finally) getting a picture together.

"I didn’t know that i needed this crossover sooooo badly," one fan wrote in the replies.

"So glad you 2 were able to take a picture this time, so iconic," another added.

Bailey and Berry, attended the sporting event with their respective partners, DDG and Van Hunt.

The 57-year-old Oscar winner and 23-year-old The Color Purple star's photo op has been a long time coming. The pair have experienced mix ups via social media, as their names are so similar.

In 2019, after it was revealed that Bailey was set to take on the role as Ariel in the live-action version of the Disney film, fans were quick to mix up their names when sharing the news.

Berry took to Twitter to clear up the speculation -- and give the the young actress her props ahead of her big role.

"In case you needed a reminder… Halles get it DONE. Congratulations @chloexhalle on this amazing opportunity, we can’t wait to see what you do!," Berry wrote.

Bailey responded, writing, "This means the world. happy to share names with you,” adding, “love you lots."

Last year, Bailey opened up about the first time she met the Oscar-winning actress at the 93rd  Academy Awards.

"She was so kind to me. I was like, 'Oh my gosh, I love you!' " Bailey said on Live with Kelly and Mark. "She's been always really supportive to me over social media, so we've had a few inbox interactions but that was my first time meeting her. And she's like, an angel."
