Grammy Award-winning artist H.E.R. can now add fashion designer to her already lengthy resume. The multi-hyphenate star teamed up with Amazon's The Drop to create a limited-time loungewear line — emphasis on the "limited-time" here though, as the collection is only available to shop for a few more hours.
Amazon's The Drop is notorious for releasing fashion collections that are live for only 30 hours or less — and The Drop x H.E.R. collab is no exception. While the time crunch can be stressful, rest assured it's well worth it for this stylish and affordable collection. Seriously, all of the items in the line are under $120, with the bulk of the pieces being under $80.
The line is the epitome of "loungewear on the go." And beyond having an array of comfortable hoodies, shoes, sweatpants and more, the collaboration also serves as an ode to H.E.R.'s Filipino heritage, California roots and ties to Brooklyn, New York.
"There are two places that really made me who I am — my hometown of Vallejo, California, and Brooklyn, New York where I’ve spent a lot of time. I'm also half Filipino, and I wanted to include something that represented my culture," as detailed by H.E.R. in a statement release on the collection. "These places all really contributed to my growth as an artist and as a woman, and it was important for me to represent all of them in my collection."
With The Drop x H.E.R. loungewear line now officially live, fans and fashion aficionados alike can embody the artist's trendy loungewear style all from within the comforts of their own home — and you know, without the help of a celebrity stylist.
This soft and comfortable hoodie sweatshirt also includes the Filipino phrase, "Bahala Ka Sa Buhay Mo," embroidered on it. It essentially translates to, "whatever with your life," because you're doing a lot better on your own (and without that person).
