Kate Hudson Sweetly Supports Ex Matt Bellamy and Elle Evans as They Welcome New Baby

Hudson and Bellamy share 12-year-old son Bingham.

Kate Hudson has nothing but love and support for her ex, Matt Bellamy

On Monday, Bellamy's wife, Elle Evans, announced the arrival of their second child -- a baby boy.

"We are so pleased to announce the arrival of our new baby angel boy 💙George Julien-Wade Bellamy🩵," she wrote. "Born on Sunday May 12, 2024. The most special blessing born on Mother's Day & what would've been my late Mother's 60th birthday. Named after Matt's Dad George, my Mom Julie, and my cowboy dad Billy Wade Evans. He arrived healthy, happy, and handsome as ever!!! We are obsessed & basking in newborn heavenly bliss!!! I am recovering well and he has already settled into such a nice routine. So grateful to my wonderfully perfect husband @mattbellamy for being so supportive & by my side every step of the way! It's an honor to bring another brilliant Bellamy into existence!"

Evans' photo carousel led with a picture of little George with his eyes closed and smiling. The photo set continued with photos of her and Bellamy sharing a sweet cuddle with their son, and the moment the couple's daughter, Lovella, 3, met her little brother. Bellamy's son with Hudson, Bingham, 12, makes an appearance in the post as she cuddles his little brother, and then holds him as they pose with their father and grandfather.

Amid the thousands of well-wishes in Evans' post, Hudson reacted to the sweet news with a series of red heart emojis.

Hudson, 45, and Bellamy, were engaged from 2011 until their split in 2014. The actress and the Muse frontman have actively been co-parenting their son.

In 2022, Bellamy spoke to ET about his and Hudson's son following their musical footsteps.

"He's a great drummer by the way," the "Madness" singer said. "He's like booming out the drums all the time and I'm starting to jam with him now."

According to the GRAMMY-winning singer, Bing also loves to join him on the road.

"Bing, he loves getting the chance to go into soundcheck and play the drums," he said. "He loves being a part of it all."

Hudson is also the mother of Ryder, 20, whom she shares with her ex, Chris Robinson, and Rani Rose, 5, whom she shares with her fiancé, Danny Fujikawa.
