Jackman reminds us of his singing skills with this 'Les Mis'/'Wolverine' parody mash-up.

Are the rare diehard fans of both comic books and epic French musicals going to be rewarded for their strange cross-section of obsessions with a Wolverine musical starring Hugh Jackman?

Unfortunately, no. Well, not yet at least. However, we can get pretty close to the magic that would be with this clip from Jackman singing a Wolverine number set to the tune of Les Miserables' Who Am I. And it's pretty amazing.

Jackman was promoting his upcoming film X-Men: Days of Future Past, in which he reprises his role as Wolverine for the seventh time, when he was given the chance to perform the wonderful parody of one of the pinnacle songs in Les Mis, a film he also starred in which earned him an Oscar nomination.

While it may be the closest thing we get to a Wolverine musical any time soon, it does manage to hit all the right emotional notes, even when Jackman isn't able to hit the song's closing high note. But by that point you'll probably already be writing your Wolverine-Story-Set-In-The-French-Revolution fan-fiction.

And for more claw-popping mutant goodness, X-Men: Days of Future Past is set to hit theaters May 23, 2014.
