Just when you thought these two might be ready to play nice...
It seems that "tensions" between Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman have once again reached a head. During a new interview with Today Show Australia, Reynolds had no problem slamming his frenemy and spreading wild rumors about the Oscar winner.
"He's just an evil person," Reynolds quipped of the 51-year-old Aussie actor. "I mean, you guys have all been duped. You think he's this benevolent ambassador to your country. People don't realize he's from Winnipeg, Canada."
The Canadian actor didn't stop there, adding, "Truth hurts sometimes, it makes your eyes water. Hugh Jackman's a fraud!"
The pair have been going hard against one another for years now. At Tuesday's New York City premiere of Reynolds' film, 6 Underground, he reacted to Jackman photoshopping his face onto a Free Guy movie poster.
"He's gotta get some hits," Reynolds told ET's Rachel Smith after posting a pic of his face photoshopped onto Jackman's The Greatest Showman poster. "He dishes it out alright, but sometimes you gotta force feed him back."
While Reynolds proudly promoted Jackman's company, Jackman took the opportunity to slam Reynolds. “Ryan Reynolds is a complete and total f**king a**hole,” Jackman declared in the clip. “Gin’s pretty great, though, I’ll have to try it some day.”
Jackman kept the faux beef alive last month after John Legend was named People's Sexiest Man Alive, posting a video with Reynolds and referring to the Deadpool star's cover as a mistake made by the magazine.
