ET sat down with the 24-year-old to talk about his latest single, 'Runaway,' featuring Jonas Brothers, Daddy Yankee and Natti Natasha.

Sebastián Yatra has been having the year of his life.

The 24-year-old singer dropped the bilingual smash "Runaway" featuring the Jonas Brothers, Daddy Yankee and Natti Natasha last month, and has been reveling in the amazing feedback he's received. So could a live performance between all the artists be in the works? According to Yatra, just wait and see!

"Yeah, that's the idea," the Colombian crooner tells ET about performing the song with the Jonas Brothers. "I mean, they just started their Happiness Begins tour and they told me about going to a couple shows."

"We were thinking about Mexico because they’re going to be playing at Palacio de los Deportes," he says. "They’re going to be in Mexico City, and we're seeing where else [I could join them]."

"Hopefully," he adds about jumping onstage with them for a couple of concerts. "Hopefully."

Fans have been praising "Runaway," a collaboration that began about two years ago with Joe Jonas. The former DNCE frontman was first attached to the project and then had brothers Nick and Kevin Jonas jump on board after the band reunited.

"After they jumped on it, I was like, 'Whoa, what’s going on here? We have the Jonas Brothers, we have Daddy Yankee, Natti Natasha! I’m like the host of it all, and the party's at my house!'" Yatra marvels. "It's literally Y100 meets La Mega, that mix of both worlds, best of both worlds and we were just so excited and psyched-out to make it happen. We moved heaven and earth to be able to all meet in New York for the music video, and it’s just crazy being in the same set as them."

As for how it was on set, Yatra admits that he was "mega nervous" meeting Joe, Kevin and Nick.

"Yeah, because I’m a Jonas Brothers fan since I was a kid seeing them on Camp Rock and was into all their songs," he reveals.

However, this wasn't his first time mingling with the band. Yatra had first met the brothers six years ago, running into Joe in a bathroom at a New York bar.

"I said 'hi' to Joe, we were actually in the bathroom next to each other and I was like, 'What’s up?' Really awkward," Yatra recalls with a laugh. "He was like, 'Yo,' and I’m like, 'Congrats,' and he’s like, 'Thanks,' and that was it. I was like, 'Oh my god! I talked to Joe Jonas.' And then when I was going out of the bar, I shook Nick’s hand. I didn’t ask for a picture or anything because I was shy. I was trying to respect their space."

"But it’s crazy because six years later -- when I met them, I hadn’t released my first song yet. I was still in that process -- meeting them on set in my song, 'Runaway,' was just insane," he shares. "So, of course, I told them the story and we laughed. But the very beginning when we said 'hi,' I was mega nervous and then we went back to the car and I was like, 'Oh my god! Let me cool down!' I didn’t know what to say and it was kind of awkward, and then we made a couple jokes on set when we were doing all the performances together and we got along really well."

"They’ve supported the song incredibly on their social media and Daddy has done so as well, Natti too," he says. "I think it’s the big reason why this song has been able to get to so many places."
