Congratulations are in order for Shahs of Sunset star Mercedes "MJ" Javid!

Javid's rep confirms to ET that she and her husband, Tommy Feight, welcomed a baby boy on Wednesday morning in Los Angeles. The baby’s name is Shams Francis Feight, and he was born 6 lbs., 9 oz. He was delivered via C-section and both mom and baby are healthy and doing well.

Javid, 46, also revealed the sentimental meaning behind her son's name to ET.

“We feel beyond blessed to welcome our baby boy into the world," Javid tells ET. "Tommy and I felt it was the perfect way to honor our parents, who have passed, by naming our son after them.”

In February, Javid shared with her fans that she had a miscarriage scare and had to undergo a cervical cerclage.

"Bedrest is far from the ideal way to spend these beautiful days, but I’m learning a lot during this quiet period," she wrote on Instagram. "How I’ve gotten through this is with a lot of faith, my beautiful father’s calming spirit inside of me, along with a maternal strength, and my husband’s unrelenting support and kindness. The procedure is painless and under an hour."

Javid and Feight -- a marketing professional -- tied the knot last April, and later conceived via IVF.

"You know, I actually fell in love, got married -- very storybook -- got pregnant a couple of months later, albeit IVF, but still, we're feeling lots of gratitude," Javid told ET last November.

She also joked about not letting Feight in the delivery room while she gave birth.

"I don't think that’s a good idea,” she shared. "I want to keep my marriage intact."

On a more serious note, the couple was very much looking forward to becoming parents.

"I wanna give this child the love that I received from my parents, I want [Tommy] to experience fatherhood, I wanna see the baby's face," she said. "And then the rest, you know, the baby can just ruin our lives. It's fine."
