Tish Cyrus is one proud mom!
Ahead of daughter Miley Cyrus' performance at the 2024 GRAMMYs on Sunday, the 56-year-old mother of five hit the red carpet in a Brilliant Earth necklace with her eldest daughter, Brandi Cyrus, 36, and couldn't help but rave over how much Miley, 31, has grown over the years.
Speaking to ET's Kevin Frazier about Miley's new era, Tish said, "It is so incredible, but as her mom, it's watching her grow into this woman she's become at 30."
She continued: "It's so crazy to think she's only 31 and everything that she's achieved, but as a person, she's just the most incredible human being. I'm so proud of her."
Miley is set to perform her hit song, "Flowers," off her Endless Summer Vacation album at the 66th annual ceremony. Of the track -- which is speculated to be about ex-husband Liam Hemsworth -- Tish and Brandi both agreed that fans went in on dissecting the lyrics when it dropped last year.
"I think the fans know more than anybody knows," Brandi quipped. "They dissected that pretty well for us."
However, Tish noted that some breakdowns of the song were "taken pretty far."
"Overall, I think Miley had so much fun making that song and, like she says it over and over, no expectations of it, just from her heart putting it out," Brandi added. "And to see its success has been so incredible."
In addition to her performance, Miley is also nominated for six awards at this year's ceremony, including Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Album of the Year, Best Pop Solo Performance, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance and Best Pop Vocal Album.
Surprisingly, Miley has yet to win music's coveted gold-plated phonograph. She was nominated for her first GRAMMY in 2015 when Bangers was nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album. ET was with Miley, who was 22 at the time, when she scored the nod.
"My friend was in my room and he said, 'Hey, you just got nominated for a GRAMMY,'" Miley recalled at the time. "And I was just like ... I thought it was a joke."
Miley earned her second nomination in 2022 for Album of the Year as a featured artist on Lil Nas X's Montero.
Will Miley finally add GRAMMY winner to her list of accomplishments tonight? We'll just have to wait and see.
