The singer shares Luna, Miles, Esti and Wren with his wife, Chrissy Teigen.
Thursday was a special day in Chrissy Teigen and John Legend's household! The couple's firstborn son, Miles Theodore, celebrated his sixth birthday, and Legend took to Instagram to celebrate the milestone with a sweet post in his honor.
"Our beautiful big boy Miles Theodore turns 6 today! He's so smart, loving and big-hearted and somehow very good at sports despite his father," the 45-year-old "All of Me" crooner captioned the carousel of photos featuring his mini-me. "We love you, Miles! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️"
The several slides show Miles in his element -- from beaming into the camera holding his birthday balloons to photos of him in his basketball team's uniform. One photo shows the newly turned 6-year-old with his baby sister, Esti, 1, and another shows him sitting on his mother, 38, while she peacefully rests during a recent family vacation.
In addition to Miles and Esti, Legend and Teigen share Luna, 7, and Wren, who is quickly approaching his first birthday.
In January 2023, the couple announced Esti's birth after previously disclosing their heartbreaking pregnancy loss in September 2020. In June, just months after they welcomed Esti, Legend and Teigen shared that thanks to a surrogate, their family had grown by one more with the birth of Wren.
Talking with ET at the City Harvest 2024 Gala last month, the couple opened up about their full household and gave an update about how their eldest kids were adjusting to the newest additions.
The proud mom and dad told ET that their offspring may bicker here and there but at the end of the day, they are thick as thieves.
"Sometimes," Legend said on whether Luna, Miles, Esti and Wren are getting along.
"They really are," added the Cravings author. "Luna and Miles are very competitive with each other, but they love the babies. They're very into the babies."
She added, "Miles has teamed up with Wren and Luna has teamed up with Esti and now it's all against us."
A few months prior, Teigen took to her Instagram Story with sweet footage of then-8-month-old son, Wren, walking. "Oh lord help us!!" she wrote over the clip.
The milestone came just weeks after Legend revealed Esti is also taking her first steps. "She’s walkin," the proud dad captioned a video of their little girl walking toward him before stumbling and falling down on the floor.
Sweet moments like those make the hectic ones all the more worth it. Like when the family of six recently ended up stranded at the Dubai airport on the way back from Thailand. The group was visiting Teigen's mom, Vilailuck "Pepper" Teigen, after she previously moved out of their California home in January.
Teigen took to Instagram to recap the trip with pictures. "My homeland is magic 🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭 winding down dump," she wrote. Teigen's photo dump included pictures of her posing in bathing suits with her babies, footage of her and Luna on a boat ride, and a picture of her kids posing with Pepper.
Legend also shared pics from the trip.
"Chrissy and I have been coming to Thailand together for 17 years now. Loved bringing all our babies for Spring Break 🇹🇭❤️🇹🇭❤️🇹🇭❤️🇹🇭," the "All of Me" singer wrote.
