Blake and Jasmin have to face a major issue when it comes to their living arrangements on Sunday's new episode of 90 Day Fiance.
Viewers were introduced to the couple on last week's episode of the hit TLC reality show. Blake lives in Los Angeles and works in the music industry and found love online with Jasmin, a model from Finland. After getting engaged, Jasmin finally arrived from Finland to live with Blake -- the two have 90 days to get married under the K-1 visa -- and they've been staying in a hotel to have some alone time since Blake still lives with his mother. But in this exclusive clip, the two get a harsh dose of reality when Blake's parents tell them they can't live together under their roof.
Blake's parents say there has been "miscommunication" and a "misunderstanding" about Jasmin living in their apartment while the two aren't married yet. Blake's mom and stepdad are moving into a new home, and Blake and Jasmin assumed they would be able to live together in the apartment.
"You and Jasmin can't live here together, you know, under the same roof," Blake's stepfather says.
"Shackling together? Absolutely not," Blake's mother adds. "We're not having that. You already know how we feel about it as far as religion is concerned and in a Christian family, that's not what you do. That's not what we do."
Blake's stepfather tells Jasmin that it's nothing personal against her, and Blake's mother says she's welcome in their home but that it's "unacceptable" for them to be living together according to their beliefs.
While Jasmin is understanding, Blake is clearly taken aback and asks what the misunderstanding was. Meanwhile, Blake's parents tell TLC cameras that their son didn't clarify that he would like for both of them to move in before Jasmin arrived in the U.S. While Blake tries to argue, his stepdad again shuts him down.
"That's just unacceptable," he says. "There's just certain things that, you know, we believe in that we just don't want to have going on in our home."
90 Day Fiance airs Sundays at 8 p.m. on TLC.
ET spoke with 29-year-old Blake and 27-year-old Jasmin at the 90 Day Mixer in Hollywood, California, in October, and the couple talked about what's in store for their relationship on this season of 90 Day Fiance. When asked to describe what their journey on the show is going to be like, the two had differing opinions.
"Dramatic, realistic," Blake said.
But Jasmin was much more levelheaded.
"I'm, like, drama-free as a person, so I don't know what to say," she said.
"You're more drama than me," she told Blake with a laugh.
