Suki Waterhouse Reveals Why Her Bump-Baring Emmys Gown Was 'Difficult to Put Together' (Exclusive)

The pregnant actress stunned in a red gown at the 2023 Emmy Awards.

Suki Waterhouse is showing off her bump! On Monday, the 32-year-old actress stepped out to attend the 75th Emmy Awards, and her growing belly was on full display in a stunning, backless red gown.

"This dress was actually difficult to put together," Waterhouse told ET's Nischelle Turner. "They really had to take it apart and re-design it to make it fit, 'cause a lot of the fittings was just me holding [my bump] and just being like, 'Oh, this is nice,' but it didn't seem like it was gonna happen."

Today, Waterhouse said she's "having a really good day," though she did note, "After the Emmys I'm just gonna, like, lie flat."

Waterhouse is one of the stars of Prime Video's Daisy Jones & The Six miniseries, which is nominated for Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series. Her co-star, Riley Keough, is up for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie, and Camila Morrone is nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie.

While the group was initially supposed to reunite for a performance at the Emmy Awards, the show was postponed due to the strike and the performance didn't work out for the new date.

"We tried to do a performance that many times and then there was a strike," Waterhouse told ET. "I don't know if we're just meant to stay in the '70s at this point, but who knows? You never know."

In addition to awards season, it's an exciting time for Waterhouse and her fiancéRobert Pattinson. Last October, a source told ET, "Suki Waterhouse and Rob Pattinson are expecting their first child together. She is so happy, excited, and appreciative of this experience. Suki and Rob are adorable together."

Waterhouse herself confirmed her pregnancy the following month.

Then, in December, Waterhouse and Pattinson sparked engagement rumors. A source confirmed the happy news to ET later that month, saying in a statement, "They’re incredibly happy and excited for their future together as a couple and family."

The 75th Primetime Emmy Awards, originally set to take place last September, was postponed due to the SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes. Hosted by Anthony Anderson at L.A. Live's Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, the ceremony will air live Monday, Jan. 15 at 5 p.m. PT, 8 p.m. ET on Fox, and will be streamed Tuesday, Jan. 16 on Hulu.
