Oscars 2021: Chloé Zhao’s Nomadland (Best Picture) Backstage Interview

Director Chloé Zhao reacts to winning an Academy Award for Best Director for her film ‘Nomadland,’ which also won Best Picture. Zhao is now the second woman in the 93-year history of the Oscars to win Best Director. She is also the first Asian woman to be nominated for and to win the Oscar in that category. During her backstage interview the director opens up about her happiest moment of the night and how the film changed her life. The 93rd Academy Awards aired Sunday on ABC.
