Miranda Cosgrove Reveals She's Never Been Drunk or Smoked 'Anything'

The 'iCarly' star is opening up about her limited experience with mind-altering substances.

Miranda Cosgrove is getting candid about her relative lack of experience with alcohol and drugs -- although it might not come as a huge surprise to her fans.

The iCarly star recently sat down for a chat on the Good Guys podcast with former co-star Josh Peck and fellow host Ben Soffer, and Peck asked the perpetually upbeat Cosgrove, "Have you ever done anything bad? Like, do you drink? Do you do any of that?"

"I've never been drunk in my entire life," admitted the 30-year-old actress, who began her career as a young child. Cosgrove admitted that it might sound "crazy," but was nonetheless true, and admitted she would be "open to it," if it came up.

"I've never even been buzzed," Cosgrove later added. "I've sipped things before, but, like, two sips."

The actress said there wasn't really any specific reason she's shied away from getting trashed at any point in her life, but instead it just became second nature to not over-indulge.

"I think it started off because I was always the designated driver when I went out with my friends," Cosgrove reflected. "I sort of liked taking on that role and got used to it and just kind of stuck with it forever."

"I'm open to drinking. I'm still planning on it at some point," Cosgrove shared, adding that she "should've done it on my [30th] birthday."

The same sort of discipline apparently applied to drugs as well, as Cosgrove admitted, "I've never smoked anything."

"I had an edible, like an edible brownie, and I fell asleep for, like, 17 hours," she added. "I woke up super rested."

The iCarly star spoke with ET's Deidre Behar on the orange carpet at this year's Nickelodeon Teen Choice Awards in Los Angeles back in March, and she opened up about her plans for her milestone birthday -- which she celebrated on May 14.

"I'm excited to have a party with my friends. I haven't had a big party since my 16th, so I think I'm gonna really go for it this year," Cosgrove beamed, and said she was excited "to just have all of my favorite people around me.'

"It's probably just gonna be a huge girls' night," she explained. "Because a lot of my friends are single, and so am I. So it'll just be a fun girls' night!"
