'Sister Wives' Star Janelle Brown Says She’s 'Even More Grateful for My Faith' After Death of Son Garrison

Garrison died in March at the age of 25.

Janelle Brown is reflecting on her faith in the wake of her son, Garrison Brown's, tragic death last month. The Sister Wives star took to Instagram on Easter Sunday, sharing photos of her daughter, Madison Brush, and her three grandkids at the beach.

"Happy Easter everyone!" she captioned the photos. "I have been even more grateful for my faith this year. The remembrance of the Savior and His gift of eternal life."

The TLC star shared that she spent the day at the beach in North Carolina where Maddie lives, choosing to stream a church service instead of attend one in person.

"The weather was beautiful and the kites flew easily," Janelle wrote.

In early March, Janelle and her ex Kody Brown's son, Garrison, died of suicide at the age of 25. Shortly after, the entire estranged Brown family attended a military funeral service for Garrison.

Over the weekend, Janelle shared photos of the service, which Kody and all of his past and present wives attended.

Janelle was presented with an American flag in Garrison's honor in a particularly emotional moment.

"It’s been hard to get my brain to work properly again. I am so grateful for the out pouring of love and support I’ve received these last three weeks. The support has been overwhelming," Janelle shared. "I am honored… Garrison was honored by family members and by his National Guard Unit last Sunday at a celebration of life ceremony. He would have loved it."

Calling the service a "beautiful moment" for the family, Janelle added that some of the images had already been shared online with "snarky comments."

In the photos, fans noticed Kody sitting next to his wife, Robyn Brown, and his ex Christine Brown's new husband, David Woolley. Meri Brown was also in attendance as were most of Kody's 18 children.

The Brown family has been estranged in recent years in the wake of Christine, Janelle, and Meri's respective splits from Kody. Kody's relationship with his only remaining wife Robyn, and his presumed favoritism toward her has also caused friction between the former polygamist and his older children.

This was thoroughly documented on Sister Wives, particularly his fractured relationship with his sons Garrison and Gabriel.
