Travis Kelce Is 'Making a Point' to Show Up for Taylor Swift on Tour, Source Says

The couple recently enjoyed a day together while getting up close and personal with some Aussie animals.

In a heartwarming display of solidarity, Travis Kelce jetted off to Sydney to stand by his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, as she dazzles audiences with her Eras Tour.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end made a bold statement by prioritizing his relationship with Swift despite their demanding schedules.

A source tells ET the power couple is making a concerted effort to support each other amid their busy careers. Kelce, known for his dominance on the football field, demonstrated his commitment by chartering a jet and showing up for Swift during her performances in Australia.

"Taylor and Travis are both super busy right now, but they are trying their best to prioritize each other and their relationship," the source says.

"Travis is very into Taylor and wanted to be there to support her during her shows in Australia. He’s grateful that she showed up for him during a very hectic time in her career and made it a point to do the same for her. They're making a joint effort to make things work," the source continues.

Kelce's arrival in Sydney coincided with Swift's sold-out performances at Accor Stadium, marking a significant moment in their relationship. But before the musical extravaganza kicked off, the couple took time to explore the beauty of Sydney together, immersing themselves in the local culture.

Images captured by Channel 9 News showcased the couple's affectionate outing at the Sydney Zoo, where they engaged in a private tour and bonded with Australian wildlife. Swift, radiating in a pink tank top and denim shorts, was seen hand-feeding a kangaroo while Kelce interacted with the animals.

On Monday, the pop star, 34, was spotted wearing a Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl LVIII Champs cap and 'TNT' bracelet as she boarded her flight to Sydney. Both the cap and the elevated friendship bracelet Swift wore were given to her by Kelce.

Since touching down in Sydney, Swift has been spotted hanging with her Eras Tour opener, Sabrina Carpenter. On Tuesday, the duo was seen leaving dinner at Pellegrino 2000.

In a show of support, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end left Los Angles Tuesday evening before traveling to Hawaii, where he stayed overnight before boarding a private jet for Sydney to join Swift on tour. It's unclear when Kelce will make his way back to the U.S., or if he'll stay for all four of her shows.

Kelce's trip comes after his father, Ed Kelce, teased the idea of his son supporting his GRAMMY-winning girlfriend abroad now that he's got free time. Ed spoke to the The Sydney Morning Herald and shared that he had a conversation with his son following his Super Bowl win in Las Vegas, Nevada, earlier this month.

"I asked him, 'Are you going to take off for Sydney?' And he seemed keen," Ed shared, adding that his 34-year-old son "said he'd really like to see Sydney and Singapore."

In November, Kelce traveled to Buenos Aires, where he was spotted supporting Swift, alongside her father, Scott Kingsley Swift, during night two of the Eras Tour at the Estadio Monumental.

Following her time in Sydney, Swift is set to take the Eras Tour to Singapore to perform a run of six sold-out shows from March 6-9.
