Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin enjoyed a show-stopping second wedding at the Montage Palmetto Bluff in South Carolina on Monday, and the hotly-anticipated event was nothing short of fun and fabulous.
A source tells ET that sentimentality was the prevalent theme of the special day, so rather than worry about expensive flowers or fancy food, the couple choose details and activities which had personal meaning to them and their relationship. ET has learned that event planner to the stars Mindy Weiss helped Justin and Hailey plan their wedding weekend.
For a start, they spent the evening following Sunday's rehearsal dinner -- which, a second source says, took place in Cole’s lounge -- at a bowling alley, in a bid to “recreate the moment,” that they met bowling. The place was also lit up in purple lights, Justin’s favorite color.
The source adds that during the day, guests shuttled around on golf carts enjoying the resort’s amenities, which range from boat trips and bicycles to alligator walks and even rifle shooting.
On the eve of the nuptials, the first source says the couple also enjoyed an outdoor screening of The Notebook -- which took place in the Moreland Village area of the resort’s property, according to the second source -- while nibbling on “carnival food” like popcorn and corndogs.
"There were beanbags and pillows set up on the ground in front of a large movie screen with a stage near it," the second source says.
According to the insider, the wedding -- which was attended by Kendall and Kylie Jenner, Usher, Daniel Caesar, Joan Smalls, Jaden Smith and Scooter Braun -- was best described as “a big party,” which also feature Ireland and Alaia Baldwin as bridesmaids, according to a third source.
“They’re already very happily married so there’s no nerves or cold feet here,” the source said. “Now it’s just a chance to celebrate their relationship with some of their closest friends. It was very informal and fun!”
As for the wedding itself, the third source tells ET that "Residents from around the neighborhood [that live] close to wedding were cheering loudly when they made it official."
Justin shared several PDA photo booth shots with his bride to Instagram and Hailey posted a shot of her leather jacket that reads, "Wife" on the back.
The personal touches carried on throughout the wedding celebration. According to the source, "the couple customized everything," including a fully crystalized Moët & Chandon Imperial Brut bottle that said, "The Biebers 9.30.19." The bottle was made with 9,682 Swarovski crystals and took 16 hours to create.
The couple also gifted their guests with customized white T-shirts with “the Biebers” silk screened on them. Hailey even rocked a leather jacket with a jeweled inscription of “wife” on the back.
On top of all this, the bride and groom offered their guests customized photos during the reception. According to a source, Hailey and Justin hired Canadian portrait photographer, The Collective You. The Vancouver-based photographer provided elegant black-and-white portraits of the attendees, and directed and posed the subjects in order to get the most flattering and dramatic shots.
The invitation shows a drawing of the church where the Biebers were married along with some simple fonts that were handwritten by the designer.
Another source close to Justin tells ET that the groom asked Drewhouse designer Gianpero D’Alessandro to create some designs for his wedding. The proposed design and font that was approved by Justin and Hailey was used throughout the weekend, including in the photo booth font, wedding swag and the party invitation.
Several other guests shared fun snapshots of the celebration as well.
Monday evening’s ceremony was a more formal event and prior to walking down the aisle, Justin took to Instagram to share how he had bought himself a fancy new wedding gift.
"Got my self a lil wedding gift,” he captioned a pic of a new watch.
In the days leading up to the special event, a source told ET that Hailey had been taking time to pamper herself, and that she enjoyed a fun bachelorette party with pals, including Jenner, on Sept. 25 in West Hollywood, California. She wore a fitted white frock and veil for the celebration.
Justin was meanwhile said to be in "a good place" ahead of the second ceremony.
"Justin has been through a lot in the past with his family, and he is looking forward to celebrating the special day with everyone," the source said. "Justin has had his ups and downs but Hailey is his constant rock through tough times like this. Justin is going into his upcoming wedding weekend in a very good place, looking forward to showing everyone the love he and Hailey share."
