Madonna Takes a Tumble Onstage After She's Dropped By a Dancer

The singer's shook off the mishap and continued performing like a pro.

A stage slip up can't keep Madonna down! The 65-year-old pop icon laughed off a shocking fall during her latest Celebration Tour performance, after the chair she was sitting in was dropped by one of her dancers.

The spill went down as Madge sang "Open Your Heart," which features choreography inspired by her classic 1986 music video. After singing a few bars of the song while seated in a wooden chair, a high-heeled dancer began pulling the chair across the stage. As the dancer lost their footing and slipped, both performers tumbled down and hit the floor.

Ever the professional, Madonna stayed the course as she rolled on to her belly and flashed a huge grin while continuing the song. Then, she let out a loud laugh as she got back on her feet and moved forward with the choreography.

There have been no shortage of memorable moments on Madonna's latest tour, which kicked off in October 2023 after facing delays due to her serious health scare last summer.

The "Vogue" singer was also sued -- along with Live Nation and Barclays Center -- in January by two concertgoers who said that she and event organizers lied about the show's start time

In happier highlights, Madonna received a rave review from Amy Schumer and welcomed both Julia Garner and Kelly Ripa to join her on stage. She also rang in daughter Mercy James' 18th birthday with a touching on-stage tribute.
