Kirstie Alley Says New Diversity Rules for Best Picture Oscar Are a 'Disgrace to Artists Everywhere'

Kirstie Alley hit up Twitter on Tuesday to give her two cents on the Academy of Motion PIcture Arts and Sciences’ new inclusion standards for Best Picture eligibility. The actress called the new set of requirements ‘a disgrace to artists everywhere.’ Alley later deleted the tweet and on Wednesday, she clarified her thoughts on Twitter.  The new rules come after the #OscarsSoWhite controversy in 2016.
