Patrick Mahomes is reacting to a shirtless shot of himself. On Tuesday's episode of Inside the NFL, the documentary took fans inside the Kansas City Chiefs' locker room after they defeated the Baltimore Ravens, sending them to Super Bowl LVIII to take on the San Francisco 49ers.
After Head Coach Andy Reid spoke, the camera panned to the team's shirtless captain, who said, "Great job today. Like I've been saying, we ain't done yet."
It wasn't Mahomes' sentiment that he reacted to on X, though. Instead, the pro athlete joked about his shirtless appearance in the clip.
"Yoooo why they have to do me like that!?!?!? 🤣🤣🤣 #DadBodSZN," Mahomes tweeted, before adding in a follow-up message, "Like I got kids!!!! @Chiefs @insidetheNFL @NFL 🤣🤣🤣."
Indeed he does. The quarterback shares Sterling, 2, and Bronze, 1, with his wife, Brittany Mahomes. In addition to the Chiefs' impressive season, the Mahomeses have made headlines for their connection to tight end Travis Kelce amid his relationship with Taylor Swift.
While Mahomes' wife has been photographed sitting with Swift at football games and enjoying nights out together, the quarterback has expressed his approval for his teammate's new romance, revealing that Kelce hasn't changed amid his newfound fame.
"Travis has always been Travis," Mahomes said in a press conference. "It's been cool to watch for me because he has all that attention but he's just been himself the whole time. He's still Travis Kelce. He still will walk through the stadium and treat every person like they're his best friend. And he's going to be like that in the locker room every single day. It hasn't been any different."
