'The Masked Singer': Season 4 Clues, Spoilers and Our Best Guesses at Secret Identities

Get out your magnifying glasses, flip open your notebooks and bring up a new Google tab, detectives, because tonight is the Masked Singer season 4 finale! Tonight is your last chance to guess the famous alter egos before the final three are revealed and a new winner is crowned!

We're here to break down all the fresh new hints, dish on the fun spoilers and collect all the clues about the hidden celebs' secret identities. We're also here to keep track of everyone who's been unmasked, just like we did for season 1, for season 2, and again for season 3 (where we nailed nearly every prediction).

From hints buried deep in the show's various clue packages throughout the season, to some of the internet's best guesses and aggregated deductions, we're compiling a comprehensive breakdown of every piece of evidence to try and crack the case of who's under each elaborate mask.

Out Best Guess: Weirdly, it feels like Martin Short could honestly, be a good choice! Although it might just be Ken's desire for it TO BE Martin Short and we've been brainwashed into agreeing.

... legendary crooner Paul Anka!
 

BABY ALIEN -- **REVEALED!!

The Clues:

-- From the Sneak Peek:

1. Says, "I'm a friendly UFO, unless of course, you are my foe. If my competition thinks I look innocent, then, Houston, they've got a problem."

2. Says, "If you're looking for a hint about this Baby Alien, all you have to do is look to the stars," and we see a night sky with the number "5" glowing in the stars.

-- From Episode 2:

1. There's way to get any clue about body shape, so that's gonna be tougher.

2. Says, "It's time for my re-birth. I've been stuck in second gear for a while."

3. Says, "When I was in the cream of the crop circle, I was in a theater every week."

4. Says he's been on the Tony Awards stage.

5. Makes a reference to Lost In Space.

6. We see a cracked Liberty Bell.

7. We see a reference to the Ninja Turtles.

8. Says, "As the puppet master, my destiny is in my hands."

The Internet's Most Popular Guesses: Freddie Prinze Jr., Alan Ruck, 

Out Best Guess: So many clues, including the Liberty Bell and Ninja Turtles and tony awards, and everything else. There's so many people it could be and... this is just a whole lot of words to say we have no idea and let's just go with Freddie Prinze Jr. for now.

And the Star Is...

...former NFL star and TV sports commentator Mark Sanchez! We... we definitely didn't call this one.


THE CROCODILE

The Clues:

From the Sneak Peek:

1. Says, "My fans are gonna be so excited when they see me on The Masked Singer. Not that I'm all reputation, but I am all reptile."

2. Says, "A special set of keys reversed my game forever. Tic-Tac-Woah!" We also see a bunch of tic-tac-toe games written out in the background.

-- From Episode 2:

1. Says, "Soon I'll croon and make you swoon."

2. Says, "Becoming the crocodile was a natural selection, because I'm happiest in water."

3. We see him sliding down a slip-and-slide with red balloon arches.

4. Says, "Ever since I was a kid, growing up in Hollywood, surrounded by heartache and instability, I was forced to develop a thick skin.
 
5. He's in a restaurant, and on the table is a pineapple filled with fish and an Italian flag.

6. Says he's a "warm, sensitive creature who just wants to be loved back."

7. We see a rainbow streak across the sky behind him.

8. We see a Hotel sign with red arrows pointed toward it, and a lot of fountains. Possibly a reference to Vegas?

9. Says he'll make "a wicked big splash."

The Internet's Most Popular Guesses: Nick Carter, Greg Louganis, 

Out Best Guess: If it is a boy band performer, Nick Carter matches up vocally. A lot of clues don't quite fit just yet, but that doesn't rule him out.  All the clues from Week 8 all but confirm this. The stuff about being in six continents in 100 hours is something Nick did with the Backstreet Boys and Nick was in a 'cult classic" -- he was an extra in Edward Scissorhands!
 

THE DRAGON -- **REVEALED!!

The Clues:

-- From the Sneak Peek:

1. Says, "I can relate to the Dragon, because I enjoy getting fired up."

2. Says, "I've also always been a creative type, so I guess I'm kind of an Imagine Dragon."

3. Says, "If you want a hot clue to finding my identity, just look into stocks and bonds," as we see a stock market chart.

-- From Episode 1:

1. Says, "Welcome to my lair. Sorry it's a bit humid in here!"

2. Says, "Dressing up in funky, outrageous costumes isn't new to me."

3. Says, "Like a dragon, I've always been a fire breathing beast on a quest to be the best" as he runs a lap while being timed with a stop-watch.

4. Says "At first, my fire was dangerous. But then, I got a tip to help me calm down and switch gears. And now, I got me this shiny treasure den."

5. We see his "treasure den" and it's filled with piles of gold coins, as well as gold medals and some golden trophies, as well as a barbell and a golden dog bone above a fire place.

6. Says, "Tonight I'm coming on stage to prove my fire's still hot and to drag the Golden Mask back to my lair!"

The Internet's Most Popular Guesses: Busta Rhymes

Out Best Guess: It's hard to tell from the clue package, but when he sings LL Cool J's "Mama Said Knock You Out," the voice could only belong to Busta Rhymes.

And The Star Is...

... Busta Rhymes! Which is seriously unfortunate, because his performance was awesome.
 

THE GIRAFFE -- **REVEALED!!

-- From the Sneak Peek:

1. Says, 'If you're looking for a hint to my identity, you should know that I share something in common with a powerful giant," and we see him as a giant giraffe walking through a city as people flee, Godzilla style.

-- From Episode 1:

1. Has the tallest costume in the show's history.

2. Says, "Step right up to my glorious carnival. I've had a roller coaster career, full of ups and downs!"

3. Says, "Music is in my blood, but when I stuck my neck out and took a gigantic risk, I became the butt of everyone's jokes."

4. We see people throwing apples and tomatoes at him.

5. Says, "I was in knots" and it "felt like the party was over" while riding a Ferris wheel.

6. We see him using a mallet on a "Ring The Bell" midway game, and a sign that reads "$3"

7. Says, "With hard work, I drummed up towering success."

8.  Says, "Now I'm in the driver's seat, and I'm off to the races tonight. That's a wrap!"

- Says, "I've survived and thrived in the animal kingdom by seeing the big picture."

- His clue package takes place inside a fancy mansion.

- We see references to The Fox (from Season 2).

- We see him eat a peach off a tree.

- Says he tries to "stay above the drama."

- Says, "Recently, my whole world came crashing down. I've kept it mostly secret, but my life was transformed in the blink of an eye.

- Says, "I had a terrifying episode that scrambled my brain. I could barely walk or talk. But I'm a fighter. I defeated my invisible predator."

- Says, "Now, I'm at a crossroads in life."

- Says, "The one thing that keeps me going is my herd. As long as they're in my life, I know I'll be back to put on another show."

2. Says, "Check the Gremlin manual and you'll see I can thrive when the temperature is a cool 66.5 degrees."

1. Says, "Despite my checkered history, I can actually be quite charming. A true romantic."

2. Says, "You may have heard I can be a bit combative, but I have a fluffy side too."

3. Says, "I adore all animals."

4. Says he enjoys "bashing opponents with heavy objects for maximum impact."

... Oscar-nominated actor Mickey Rourke, who decided he didn't care to keep going so he decided to just unmask himself immediately after performing. It was super weird.


THE JELLYFISH -- **REVEALED!!

Out Best Guess: The Mean Girls clues make us think that maybe, just maybe, it could be Jonathan Bennett.
 

THE POPCORN -- **REVEALED!!

2. Says her performance is going to be "in 3-D: dynamic, delightful and diva-licious."

3. We see her dressing room and there's a photo of a green cow on her mirror.

2. We see a tiger on her bed.

3. She's got a gold fish with big golden hoop earrings.

From Episode 2:

1. The Seahorse has a Wild West-themed clue package, outside the "O.K. Coral"

2. She's sitting around the campfire with two puppies, a dove and a stuffed rainbow lizard plush toy, having a tea party.

3. Says, "All my life, I've been trapped by my insecurities and shyness, too scared to release the fire burning inside."

4. Says, "You may call me melodramatic, but at times I've felt lost in this world."

5. We see a horned hog, covered in warts. (Hogwarts reference, possibly?)

6. Says, "Here, I get a chance to stop playing tug of war with myself, and finally expose the dauntless diva within."

THE SERPENT -- **REVEALED!!

From the Sneak Peek:

1. Says, "If you want to know how I instantly appeared, here's the prescription number to my identity." We see a prescription bottle with the number #31118.

1. We see an old timey map of "The Caribbean."

2. Says he had to take a circular route to his fame, and when he was young he had to choose between medicine or musicology.

3. Says he was a troublemaker.

4. He's sitting next to two books titles "How To Dig Yourself Out of Debt" and "Serpent Manual

5. Says his pops save him. His dad has a hat that says "Serpent Sr."

6. Says, "I hope to lift everyone's spirits tonight."

THE SNOW OWLS -- **REVEALED!!

1. Says, "We are the Snow Owls, and we're ready to ruffle feathers and show everyone it takes two to make a dream come true."

2. Says  "We're here because performing on stage with someone else is always twice as nice. We're on our hands and knees hoping for victory. After all, we are birds of 'Pray.'"

3. Says, "Who is that? You can try and figure out who we are, but as for who is more talented, it's a tie."

4. We see an image of a barn.

From Episode 1:

1. First off, there are two of them, so that's weird!

2. They say, "You haven't seen us together in a while. But now it's time for a family reunion.

3. Based on the voices and hints, it appears that one owl is male and the other is female, which could mean siblings?

4. We see a clam with a white pearl inside.

5. The Lady Owl (which is what she'll go by from here on out) says The Owl Man (also what he'll go by now) is "a prankster" and "a real wise guy" to which he says, "Anything for a laugh," before squirting water out of a rose on his lapel.

6. We see wooden direction signs for "Magnolia" and "Quarrel Canyon."

7. Says they were in Hollywood together, and that they love Christmas.

The Internet's Most Popular Guesses: Chip and Joanna Gaines, Nick and Vanessa Lachey, Carlos and Alexa PenaVega.

Out Best Guess: Clint Black and Lisa Hartman Black. The couple have a daughter named Lily Pearl, and Clint just released his first album in five years, hence "You haven't seen us together in a while." They've also released Christmas albums together. That being said, Carlos and Alexa PenaVega is also possible just based on the fact that they both appeared on Dancing With the Stars together, so they're down for this kind of fun.

SQUIGGLY MONSTER -- **REVEALED!!

- Says, "The fun part about being a squiggly monster is it's got a soft side and an edgy side. That means I get to be lovable while also being a wild child."

- We see the Squiggly Monster with a white puppy, which is seated in front of a birthday cake. Squiggly Monster says, "I bet you are crazy to party with, dog!"

- Says, "It's very fitting that I have so many appendages. After all, I'm known for having a lot of hands to latch onto."

The Internet's Most Popular Guesses: Michael Keaton, Bob Saget

Out Best Guess: The poltics clues are confusing, but it seems like all the clues from Week 6 are geared toward America's Funniest Home Videos. Since Tom Bergeron already was The Taco, it seems the Bob Saget is a safe bet.

And the Star Is:

... Bob Saget! Not only did we call it, but so did almost all of the judges (except Nicole, surprisingly).
 

THE SUN

-- From the Sneak Peek:

1. Says, "I'm going to eclipse the competition."

2. Nick Cannon says there's a "special secret" behind the sun costume.

3. Says, "I'm the Sun because I love to light up the world around me. We've all had periods of darkness, but my powerful rays have been known to break through the clouds."

4. Says, "If you're trying to figure out who I am, here's a hint. This sun knows how to shine like a torch, even during the freezing winter. America, my identity will never dawn on you."

1. She's got a card that reads "Fun Director Gold Member"

2. Says, "I've have some extreme seasons in my life."

3. Says, "When I sprung into existence, I felt like the center of the universe. At first, stardom was great, but it was ton of pressure. The spotlight was scorching and I got burned out."

4. Says, "I was frozen, but within the darkness of a quiet place, I transformed into a ray light!"

Out Best Guess: LeAnn Rimes. She's actually covered Lizzo's "Cuz I Love You" before and we're pretty sure it's a vocal match.
 

WHATCHAMACALLIT -- **REVEALED!!

-- From the Sneak Peek:

1. Says, "Trust me when I say I'm going to win, win, win by the hairs of my chinny-chin-chin."

2. Says, "The high level of precautions on this show is unlike anything I've ever seen before. Security has everything here on lockdown. They enter secret codes to get through secret passageways. How am I supposed to meet all of my secret admirers?"

3. Says, "Some might say that my career had a magical start," while we see someone holding an Ace of Spades that bursts into smoke.

-- From Episode 2:

1. Says, "I'm magical, mythical, philosophistical, jazzy and snazzy and full of pizzazzy."

2. Says, "People think I'm a shy guy, because I've let other's absorb my spotlight."

3. Says, "I can dance with the stars, surf candy bars, buzz with the bees and swing from the keys."

4. We see a black panther in the background, as well as some Jell-o molds.

5. Says, "It's time to turn the tables on the world.

6. We see a clock face with SO MANY CLUES. The numbers 278, then a music triangle, then "4.0," then a picture of The Bear from Season 3 (who turned out to be Sarah Palin) then the number 61 and 12 then a shrimp, a turn table and a pair of khaki slacks. Whew! That is too much for one second of screen time.

Out Best Guess: We're embarrassed to admit this but... straight-up no idea.
