Two years after they finally tied the knot, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez have sparked split rumors that have seemingly reached a fever pitch.
Speculation that the couple has split emerged in recent weeks when fans noticed that they had not been photographed together in over a month. And although the couple was seen together on Thursday, marking the first time they were spotted with each other in 46 days, it seems their social media activity is adding fuel to the fire.
On Thursday, relationship coach Lenna Marsak shared on her Instagram Story that Lopez, 54, had "liked" her post about unhealthy relationships months after it went up in March.
The March 19 post details personality traits some people bring to relationships that the account positions as unhealthy for romance.
"You can't build a relationship with someone who is disconnected from themselves," Marsak captioned her post. "We can't expect someone to see us when we can't even see themselves. Getting in a relationship is the easy part. Nurturing & fostering it is a different story. After all, love is not a feeling, it's action ❤️."
On Friday, Marsak shared a video on her Story asking her over 9,000 followers to exercise caution when speculating about Lopez and Affleck's relationship.
"Please be kind to Jennifer Lopez because she's a human being. I do not know if they're getting divorced," Marsak said. "I hope not, but yeah, please."
The buzz around Lopez's social media activity has renewed speculation around the couple's relationship since they've stepped out separately in public for multiple occasions. Affleck attended Tom Brady's roast, while Lopez walked the iconic steps at the Met Gala solo. Affleck wasn't by his wife's side for the event, which she co-chaired, because he was working in Los Angeles, his rep told ET.
Split speculation was further fueled when InTouch claimed that the pair had called it quits, and TMZ reported that Affleck is staying at a house without his wife.
While Lopez was photographed wearing her wedding ring in recent days, a source told ET that they have "had their ups and downs" since their 2022 wedding.
"They have gone through phases where things haven't been as great between them due to their different personalities and not getting enough time together," the source says. "They're not always on the same page. They both have so much going on between taking care of their families and their work commitments and it can be a lot for them."
Despite the rumors, Lopez, 54, and Affleck, 51, seemed their usual selves while attending an event for one of the actor's kids on Thursday. He shares Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12, with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner.
Lopez -- who shares 16-year-old twins Emme and Max with her ex-husband, Marc Anthony -- arrived at the event wearing jeans and a collared shirt, which she paired with hoop earrings, heels and a high ponytail. Affleck, meanwhile, opted for a button-up shirt and jeans.
The duo was seen chatting in a parking lot outside the event, with Affleck holding a paper and Lopez carrying flowers.
A source previously told ET that Lopez had "not been paying much attention to any outside hate."
"She has always had to deal with criticism and knows that she is misunderstood by some. She realizes that will always be the case because she's an artist and there are people who don't get her or know her," the source said ET about the triple-threat star.
"Ben is 100 percent supportive of Jen and keeps it real with her," the source added. "They both know this is part of the business and remind each other that you can't please everyone. They acknowledge what really matters, lift each other up, and encourage each other's talents and capabilities."
And when it comes to their family, the source told ET the couple are rock solid.
"Jen and Ben are doing well and are very happy together. Their kids bring them even closer together and keep them humble," the source shared. "Jen and Ben are supportive of one another and just want the best for their relationship and family. Their kids love being a blended family and mesh well together. They're all kind and get along well."
